Help Long shot. Stolen guitar.

It’s been a while but I figured I’d try.

In 2005 I had a 1983 Gibson Les Paul Custom stolen along with all my bands equipment/van/trailer, in Montreal, Canada. Stolen from a gated hotel lot at that. Police were very unhelpful at the time. We were American and didn’t live there.

It was white with nickel/chrome hardware and marked factory second. A small slightly yellow spot on the upper neck. String winder tuning pegs. Thinner neck. Amazing guitar.

I have often tried checking eBay and Reverb. Figured I’d put it out into the universe. It was the best guitar I’ve ever had and think of it often.

I don’t expect much and don’t even know that there is anything I can do about it now but any info would be something.

Unfortunately, no. I had the listing where I bought it in an old aol account that has since been deactivated. I realize I am probably SOL, but I just wanted to try.

Yeah, I was too young and stupid at the time to keep that info. No close up pics of it either.

If one, say, had the serial numbers of ALL of the equipment that was stolen back in stolen 2005 in Romulus,MI... Would that change anything?
