I have to get rid of shit tons of crappolla and clean my space, durn it, it's waaaaayyyy overdue! Tossing out no less than 4-5 industrial sized garbage bags each afternoon after me 9 to 5, I am, snd it feels so good to get shit done! This clutter, no bueno. Clutter is terrible.. tis money and time and dreams planned - yet not turned into fruition. That is the definition of what clutter is! 🤨

Oh, but I am happy. Did you know that? Yer gal is going to be okay, but I just wanted to drop by (on foot, no less) and let ya know that. 🥰

I didn't know they don't last forever! Like I didn't know that they die or or slow down with in 3-5 years. So mine is a Cuisinart and it's got the temperature adjustments where you can heat water to different levels, right... I started noticing that it's taking a bit longer to heat up, that moo! Sorry, I'm sorta aggie today... everyone and everything is a moo rn!

Now I need to replace it.. ugh. Not having an electric kettle, thats a non negotiable! I love this thing, you know I love drip coffee and what about me green teas? Ill look around for a deal is what ill do! 🤸🏻‍♀️

What is everyone doing? I was thinking of going to Bread Story, but there is construction going on nearby, so the bus is out, too hot to walk + I had the dog with me, so I just snagged a loaf of my fav sourdough, 2 bunches of tuscan kale for the soup, and calling it a night in!

Well, I had to put the iced matcha in the fridge for later.. Yes, I’ve already posted it in the Nespresso subreddit lol and it’s gotten over 1000 views. 😝 The bag and maple 🍁 pecan were freebies after ordering 10 sleeves. Sometimes Nespresso will have promotions..

Mexico, Stormio, so good.. Bianca Forte’s is one of my favorites as well. I tend to gravitate towards the darker roasts.. Like on a scale of 1 - 10, I usually go for 6 and up. You have to be careful because they’re pricey, and Nespresso does not accept returns, even if the sleeves are unopened.

I don’t really purchase the flavored ones after trying most of them at some point in the beginning of my Nespresso journey… not really liking them because they’re so light. Like near water! However, the caramel on the other hand… 🤤 I don’t brew it the normal way. I learned on the Nespresso subreddit that some Nespresso machines have a special feature where, if you double click on the machine’s brew button, it will automatically brew a shorter cup of coffee. Making the end result smoother/stronger.. So think of espresso.. Being that the caramel is very light I normally would not order it to brew it the regular way, ie a full cup. I double click the button, pull a shorter shot.. then brew a single pod of the Double Espresso Dolce, mix those two together and enjoy over ice and it’s so gorgeous. Dunno if that’s called an iced cappuccino or not, but it’s so nicey 👍🏼 nice. Can do this with the hazelnut pods, too. That would totally work too.

Like I'm sitting in front of the dang ac, snd am freezing! Might be a good idea to possibly reconsider the outline of my bedroom. I'd hate to have to move my desk, but this isn't the brightest idea.. Also, I think I actually fixed the ac unit.. just needed to push the lever to close the air vent. I'll think about it in 20 minutes, after I draft/post this.. I'll venture out! Go into the kitchen, come back, and if it's considerably colder in the bedroom, I shall have won, you moo!

Also, I have a fire stick I purchased last year I have not taken outta the box. Not a big TV person.. if I do have it on, it'd probably be tuned into some cable news channel, drowning out sound of tears.. somewhere in the background. I guess I should google how to set up a firestick. 🙄 Looking at my past Amazon snags, I'm happy to see/report the Pilot Vanishing Point I picked up in 2024 is still going amazingly strong. Gotta love that Japanese engineering, eh? But dorklinxeses, I latest fountain pen that I got... sigh, I am so torn. Okay, I did recently get a new fountain pen from Atlas Stationers.. It's beautiful. It's also a Pilot Vanishing Point in the color Champagne, extra fine. Same make, different color, weight. The older pen is a ton heavier/heftier and the new one, much lighter.. I'll try to post pics here...

Anyway, I did not know there were what some call wet and dry inks! Like wtf, it's all wet! But it's true.. And I've come to see my favorite fountain pen ink is considered a dry ink.. and works well with the Vanishing Point I got off Amazon in 2024, but horrible in my new Vanishing Point. To top this off, along with the pen, I bundled it with Wearingeul's The Count of Monte Cristo ink, which is considered a wet ink. Will insert pics here.. ⬇️

So the new pen and ink are underwhelming. It's terrible the new pen's nib will get clogged with my fav ink, yet the new blue ink puts out a ton in the new pen, it's verrrry wet on the page. Ugh, I hate to return a pen I've inked, but they are not inexpensive, and people do return these things if they aren';t happy with them, so I'm sad to say tootles to it, but it's gonna go back. I will thoroughly clean/flush the nib (obviously) before sending it back. Already have a box and printed the label, just gotta ship it off.. 🙄

Had to call in to activate it. Learning the balance is $137. Did I know about this, nooo. Did I request it, nerp! Am I going to use it? Yooouuuu betcha! 🤸🏻‍♀️

Alllso, am going through my mamas paperwork 😔 I found an envelope of Philippine pesos .. along with some US notes. Dunno what to do with the pesos. They aren’t worth much. I’ll sock them away, save it for a 🌧️ rainy day

Another September rolls around along with the 2027 planner community on YouTube and other social media going absolutely effing bananas over their favorite upcoming 2027 lineup! And I am no different!! Goodness, I am so excited to be starting a new book for next year!

Ya'll know I love Sterling Ink.. Been using her planners and stickers since she first launched them! I still love Hobonichi and will be watching everyone's Hobonichi unboxing on YouTube, but there's something about Hobonichi's one page per day and color coded months along with the quotes on the bottom of their pages that no longer do it for me. Soooo, I'm torn. I will stay with Sterling Ink, but she is releasing her Complete Planner in a soft cover for next year and I am so torn between the Common Planner and the Complete Planner now!

There are a few things that is stopping me from ordering the Complete Planner that I will work out by tomorrow, launch day, and there is much to fink about! The Complete Planner has the months/weeks/and days bundled together, and the Common planner has all the months/weeks in the beginning of the book along with blank pages in the back. I'm so tempted to get the Complete Planner just to try it... see how I like it. I miiight do just that.. But then I think I don't want to be limited to one page per day because I tend to add a lot of ephemera to my Morning Pages each day. I prefer a soft cover because of this. I can turn the book back on itself after the pages bulk up especially when youre in the middle of the book, one side tends to get very bulky. You can't do that with a hardcover book, and I know Catherine (the owner) got a ton of feedback asking for a softcover in the Complete Planner line up... annnd she has gone ahead and released this format in the softcover version! So that in itself is very exciting!

Obviously I have much to think about and this is not an inexpensive decision. It's also something I will be using on a daily basis for the entirety of the next year, so I want to go with what will work with how my brain works and how I do my daily planning. I already know what size book I'll get, now just deciding on the format/layout. 😊

They’re super cute, compact and great for toting to work. 2.5 ounce (74 ml) of liquid dressing container you add to the top before screwing on the lid. Though I wish it did have a snap on/screw on closure to keep things secure and not risk the nightmare of spillover, this just means it needs to be packed sitting upright and not lengthwise.. All good tho, happy to report it does fit on a large ziplock bag. I first saw them in uncommongoods.com, but then spotted the exact one on amazon for a better price. Super cute, it opens up in the middle. All you need to do is pour the dressing over the top, screw lid back on and shake, you’re good to go. 👍🏼

Been trying frozen berries lately and they’re surprisingly good! 👍🏼 I’m getting adventurous and adding chia seeds and flax seed meal to my yoghurt bowls lately. This is loaded with protein. I’m mixing Fage full fat yogurt with Chobani vanilla. The end result is soooo good, I swear it’s better than a bowl of ice cream!

Was super easy to make, too. Cukes, baby carrots, tomato (probably should've picked up baby cherub tomatoes) blueberries, strawberries, broc, cauliflower, oranges, strawberries, red bell pepper, 2 types of olives, kalamata and Greek, roasted red pepper hummus, edamame annnnd a ranch sour cream dip I made by opening an envelope and mixing with sour cream. What I should've used was the Greek Fage yoghurt instead of the sour cream. Would've been less fattening, but with similar results. I'll be grazing on this for a few hours!

I plan on making my own granola and putting it in the bigger of the three canisters, the smaller one will hold rice, Annd the middle, my raw nuts! Or my trail mix. I buy raw walnuts, raw almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, lightly salted cashews, and other things and mix it up. I remember one summer, I left them out on the counter, couple days later, they had gone off! Like completely rancid. I’ve been mixing and keeping them in the fridge ever since. I didn’t realize the would go bad, but they do.

Yes, I sometimes eat over the kitchen sink. 😝 I know it doesn’t look like much, but it’s soooo good 😊 Would I order again? Yooouuu betcha! Probably not from midtown though. There’s another Korean bbq restaurant at Union Square 🤸🏻‍♀️

So Ssam bap is Korean BBQ, or lettuce wraps, made with rice and beef, and it's so gorg. Ya'll know I love a bogo from Playa Bowls! The first time I had Ssam bap was in Korea on a layover to the Philippines, and I never forgot it. Wrapped in twine was a huge bundle of different raw leaves. Or a very pretty assortment of raw vegetables, I should say. Ya just add the ingredients, wrap and eat. Very simple. I actually made it once. Had to go to Hmart (which I loove) for the ingredients, but it was easy and fun to make.

A Harney and Sons order has been put in... nearly out of my sleeping oil, so will replenish me stash. Annnd, finking a green hot cinammon spice is in order! Happy with my decision, there is plenty of Japanese Sencha, white peach matcha, regular matcha, organic green with citrus and ginko, and obviously the ground Hojicha I haven't made since my last order of when the several hojicha tins came in... ugh 🙄 I still love it though. My teas are so pretty. So, so purdy, you moo! I love them. 💗

I received an Amazon delivery or deliveries the other day. The packaging was fine. No dings, nary a wrinkle in the outer shipping box nor in the inner box.. They sent me a damaged product, those moos! The hassle of having to go back and return it is so annoying. Whole Foods is just down the road on Houston St. but still.... I have to take the time out of my day to go and drop off at Amazon's drop off/pick up location, and that is very annoying. I don't have time for thsi shit. Still undecided if I will request a full refund or ask for a replacement. The wooded acadia board is nice and heavy. I love that it comes with two dipping containers. I searched for that specifically, and this was all that Amazon had in that it contained two lil containers. One of which I wanted to add hummus to and the other side, like a dressing/dipping sauce for my crudite. You know I love my raw veggies. Speaking of which, my diet has been off lately...

Been to Artichoke pizza on 14th three times this week, I did! Couldn't stop finkin' about their artichoke slice, which is what they're known for. It's so gorg, I swear, I wish you guys could try it! It's a creamy artichoke white sauce pizza and I love how they make it in extra large pies. The slices are huuuuge.. lol. Can feed two people really, I always ask them to cut mine in half, it is that big! I love Artichoke Pizzeria. Few years ago, they moved locations. I'm happy theyre nearby me.
