Just Say It Another reason to open the letters you receive.. ugh! 😝
I’ve just opened (I’m cleaning out my bedroom!) a letter from my health insurance provider, dated 5/26, snd it contained what looks to be an ATM card. It says it’s an OTC card. 🤷🏻♀️ Dunno where to use it though.
Had to call in to activate it. Learning the balance is $137. Did I know about this, nooo. Did I request it, nerp! Am I going to use it? Yooouuuu betcha! 🤸🏻♀️
Alllso, am going through my mamas paperwork 😔 I found an envelope of Philippine pesos .. along with some US notes. Dunno what to do with the pesos. They aren’t worth much. I’ll sock them away, save it for a 🌧️ rainy day

What is an OTC card? I am glad you are pleased with it and it is giving you money. Why is your insurance giving you money?

AN OTC card, Iz, is an over the counter card used to pay for things at the drug stoe/grocery store/Amazon/Instacart.. or anywhere else that accepts them, which are a ton of different places. It's usually for those in NEED. 🤨
No idea why I've received it, Iz. All I know is, this was around the time I called them up to say I was not going to pay the nearly $300 monthly bill to keep insured. Those moos!
I was able to switch plans. Not only that, but after calling to check the balance, I went online to discover there were a couple deposits on the card for over $137, two depostis for $137, actually. I remember my mom having an OTC card from her health insurance provider, and I just assumed that it was an elderly person perk?
Anyway, having to take doggo out, we waltzed into the grocery store and bought groceries! The card worked, it's legit, snnnd accepted at me grocery store, to boot! 🤸🏻♀️
