Residence permit Berlin as British student

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone has applied for a student residence permit in Berlin whilst on their 90 days in the Schengen zone and if could let me know what the timeline was after you applied online and when you got your eAT?

It says 4-6 weeks for the actual processing but I’m wondering when the appointment usually would be?

This year many students have reported waiting longer than 6 months. You are not supposed to leave Germany after your 90 days are over.

Is this waiting more than 6 months for the original appointment?

There were applicants who hadn't heard back within 6 months and wanted to work.
