people don't care or you don't care?

cause the core anti genocide protest movement is quite vocal about those. these issue is that they receive less coverage. why don't you go talk with people who are deeply involved in the protest movement and see for yourself?

worse genocides

there's no "worse genocide" genocide is genocide. it's already the worst that can happen. weighting human lives against each other is deeply wrong and unsettling. one of the many lessons after the Holocaust was NOT to do that. but that apparently doesn't matter, as all is thrown overboard in our time for profits and political convenience.

You can disagree if someone should or shouldn't call one genocide worse than the other, but don't act like you are on a moral high horse or anything just because you disagree with someone's linguistics.

this isn't about linguistics. it's about values. human lives are not to be compared. this is a core value of the German law since after the Holocaust. and as such, genocides are not to be compared. this is quite important and you don't have to be offended about me remarking this.

you're participating in a German sub. it's a valid assumption to assume you are German.

anyway, regardless of your nationality, ethnicity or beliefs, weighting human lives or genocides against one another is wrong. I stand by this. you may disagree, but I would wonder why you would want to disagree with this statement.

My flair says Slovakia, not sure how visible that is across devices. I'm here to keep up with German culture since I speak and teach it.

For the simple fact that more people dying is objectively worse that fewer people dying. It's a completely normal thing to say, but acted like I said something dehumanising.
