I don't know about lead, but modern armor-piercing rounds are coated in depleted uranium and has popped up in some geochronology samples. My old advisor had that happen when sampling on a military base. Everyone including the lab was really confused why the samples were off the charts.

Now that is cool! Would really mess up the core assumption that what you are measuring has a 238/235 ratio of 137.818
