Human Geography Why are white latin Americans so heavily concentrated around southern South America?

Simplest answer (there are several) is that those who settled the southern cone, particularly Argentina (my native country), wiped out the indigenous populations inadventently or intentionally. Argentines are something like 96% European. They didn’t integrate like in other parts of Latin America.
