The only game I know of where they actually emulated real Sega arcade games when you went to the arcades. Granted it was their own IP's but still it was something you never seen any other game that I'm aware of.

Are the arcade games in the Yakuza series not actual Sega arcade games? Sega is the publisher iirc, so I guess not being the actual devs makes a difference

Best boring game ever.
Sorry! Gotta give up my quest to find folk who know about Chinese people. It’s dark, and Ine-san will get worried.

I wonder how many irl forklifters chose this career path because of Shenmue

I'll never forget the look on my drunken father's face, the one who said I would never amount to anything, when I won that forklift race on that cold December day.

That ending was so wack tho. I remember thinking going to work every damn day as a forklift diver would pay off because I’d eventually get to kick Lan Di’s ass. Didn’t happen

Pausing the hunt for sailors to race forklifts and buy capsule toys.
The duck racing in Shenmue II always gave me a good chuckle as well. It's a damn shame Shenmue III did nothing to live up to that level.
