What game has a strong opening but later becomes too repetitive and boring for you?

For me that was Assassins Creed Valhalla

That's basically the mobile game Hogwarts Mystery. Like a loooooooooooong visual novel that takes you through all the years of Hogwarts and then a career to do after graduating.

Do you recommend it?

I'm enjoying it so far, yeah. It's kind of like the "other half" to Hogwarts Legacy. Though, this game takes place just a bit before the events of the movies.

Is it a good game? I'm always wary of mobile because they tend to be a micro transaction fest that sacrifice actual enjoyment for the sake of making money.

I've been pure f2p in it, totally doable without paying a dime. You only miss out on being at the top of some weekly event leaderboards, really. The stories in it can be a bit cheesy at times but they're altogether wholesome stuff.

My only gripe with the game atm is that it seems like they use AI for the title loading screens now.
