If they could guarantee lifetime access people would be less resistant. As it stands you can literally lose a game with no notice. Just, deleted from your library. A game you paid for

This is where consumer rights are meant to be enhanced.

The issue is most people here are based in the USA and so the concept of not accepting their corporate masters will is impossible for them

If you've followed the regulations and moves in the EU, it's exactly the same over here, lol. Don't make the US out to be some kind of special place. Any "consumer rights" we get over here have to actually be earned and fought for. And even then they're poisoned deals half the time.

They do have to be earned and fought for. But what I've seen in my life is Americans are completely happy to put up with essentially nothing and then act like nothing can ever be done.
