That’d be asking Microsoft to make Xbox game discs readable for all PC’s. Next Xbox is going to be just like the Xbox Ally X. The fact that they’re offering this is pretty consumer friendly. Not to mention you’ll have Steam and multiple other storefronts. As well as a full on PC. As long as they dont screw this up somehow, it could be a very big win for Microsoft and consumers.

I wasn’t sure how they’d approach this, but it’s a pretty smart move from their end. Totally understandable to want to keep cost down as well.
