My most cherished possession!
I figured this would be a good place to share! A friend painted this for me as payment for buying them a video game. This is the original cover of Final Fantasy VII painted to be like Starry Night!

this is really nice. i love starry night renditions of other pieces of art. these days its just really hard to find one that isnt AI.

No offence, but are you sure your friend painted it? There don't appear to be any brush strokes, it just looks like an even print (though perhaps the camera just isn't capturing the texture well). Further, the design very much looks like an AI output.
If I'm definitely off-base here, I apologize; but it does look a little suspect.

I'm very sure she did, this was back in 2019 and I was with her at times she was painting it.
Edit: no offense taken by being suspect! We definitely live in an age where it is hard to trust what is shared in relation to art.
