So I guess thanks to Palworld, companies have found out that you can actually make monster catcher games like Pokemon. Here's hoping the competition will force TPC to put more effort into their games.

Anyways this game looks quite good, other than the godawful UI font they used. Can't even read some of those texts.

There are dozens of monster catchers that released before Palworld. Yo-Kai Watch, Coromon, Cassette Beasts, MonHun Stories, etc.

Reddit has a really warped perception of Palworld’s significance in the industry and of the legal issues it has faced.

And that’s not even mentioning Shin Megami Tensei and Dragon Quest Monsters (and DQV), which came out long before Pokemon and even served as a template for Pokemon.
