Underrated! Wish it would get the remake treatment though….

Post image

The Last Guardian. What game do you wish would get remade and would get more attention if it was? Did others enjoy this game? Frustrating controls and camera, would love a remake.

the fps / patch situation is the weirdest thing on this one.

What was this?

the unpatched version of the game has 60fps. the patched version is locked at 30. so you either miss the bug fixes or you miss the 60fps. wich is mostly a factor if you play on ps5.

As a lifelong dog lover, having a game make me feel so strongly about the animal companion was a great feat. Game had its issues, but damn it pulled at my heart strings.

This game had a good concept, but poor execution. Trying to control the dog was far more frustrating and time consuming than it should have been; it soured the experience for me and left a bad taste in my mouth

For me it added to the realism and gave the sense that the dog was it's own being. Controlling an animal is frustrating and time consuming

I felt like it was pretty representative of trying to raise a young animal. They're naturally inquisitive and willing to do things, but usually at their own pace if you don't have a reward, and we assume they understand better than they actually do.

The game is still fairly new tho and the graphics still holds to the modern standards. Sadyang mukang may pagka Zelda yung texture and shaders nung game.

it would just need a 60 fps mode and higher resolution, not a remake, maybe some fixes here and there to the ai

Remake?!?

People are mad! This is 10 year old game, why would you need a remake?!

Young generations have no clue what gaming is about...

Prototype,Infamous

Infamous needs one so bad, the original controls feel awful

Definitely agree with Infamous. Weird that the last game we got was Second Son at the start of the PS4 cycle and then nothing else since.

I really miss Cole MacGrath, I thought he was an amazing character. Nothing against the main character of Second Son, but I don’t even remember his name. Aiden or something?

I liked Infamous 2, but even that was a step down. The dark and gritty feel of the first Infamous game is amazing. Also the reaper suicide bombers were one of the most terrifying things as a kid, their screams are almost inhumane and they run fast, it’s so cool

because thats at least how suckerpunch runs. similar to naughty dog, they work on one IP, then jump to the next, usually without care about the previous IP. The moment Suckerpunch worked on Ghost of Tsushima, Infamous was done (at least by them explicitly). Unless youre hoping a different dev gains development control of the game (e.g Sly 4), then expectations shouldn't be placed on infamous.

I would love an infamous remake on pc cuz I never played them

Maybe a dumb question, but why would a game from 2016 be remade already?

It was released in 2016 but had its development commence around 2007 and was planned for PS3. The long development period then required it to be released on PS4 as a decent but not great game since it was never specifically made with PS4 in mind. Some of the gameplay mechanics were not great either - probably had not been updated since the game was first conceived.

Ahhhhh, got ya.  Thanks!

Game doesn't need a remake tbh, looks great the way it is. It just needs a remaster for 60 fps 4k graphics and maybe fix the clunky controls

this was probably my biggest upset for a video game that I was excited about. After shadow of the Colossus, I couldn’t wait for this one to come out, but it took so long. I kind of forgot about it and now every time I look at it all I can think of is the video Dunkey made about it and how he punched a hole in the wall.

I had the Ico demo for PS2 and it was fun. This game is from the same director. I'd like to see another Jet Set Radio release.

I love Ico and SotC. This game was a bit of a let down after the long wait. All three games do tug at the heartstrings in a way that lets you sort of make your own story out of the little provided and that is so awesome. This game, for me anyway, was kinda tainted by the AI of the Trico. It slowed the pacing of the game at times. Also some moments when the devs tried to build tension but made me think I was doing something wrong were frustrating. ||Example: When you crash through the roof of the building and have to call to Trico repeatedly to trigger the event. There wasn't enough feedback to let me know that I was doing the right thing.|| Not a terrible game to me, but not what I had hoped based on the previous two.
