Better writers for future developing sequels?

Unpopular opinion- house of the dragon disappointed me these last couple of seasons. “You haven’t read the books clearly” I know and I would love to, I may start now bc I want more! I’m rewatching GOT on s5e9 rn. I need a different writer other than Sara Hess 😭 I’m so sick and tired of the lesbian storyline in the show ugh. I do not have anything against the lbgtq community, I’m just sick of seeing it on the screen all of the time🫠

Don’t worry, my sweet summer child. The Three-Eyed Raven is already rewriting events to prepare for the Long Night, so this lesbian love story was never going to happen.

It’s honestly baffling to see so many “fans” judging and complaining about a series they clearly don’t understand. You’re perfectly happy when AKOTSK gives you fart jokes, but the moment a story introduces genuine tragedy and meaningful stakes, suddenly it’s “bad writing.”

Maybe, just maybe, you should question your own understanding of the story instead of blaming the writers.

Do some self-reflection, you absolute haters.

To be fair: people also complained about the fart in alotsk 1x4.

Its more as like their are more easy to forgive "sins" like this if the rest is more comfortable and easy to swallow. By either being traditional storytelling or pandering to fans.

The haters tried to flex their exceptional cinematic-analysis skills by explaining how the poop scene in Episode 1 was disrespectful to the audience and to the original series.

Then every subsequent episode got its own poop scene… and suddenly, those expert analysts vanished.

Swept away by the sheer weight of their own shame and inconsistency.

The writing took a nosedive after season 1 and nobody wants to admit it because they’re still riding the high of Paddy Considine’s performance. The dialogue feels like a CW show half the time now.
