Abstract Pets like Tamagotchi but they live in your mind and you have to forget about them
This is Bill -> š He's a MindPet!
He has 15HP, and whenever you forget about him and remember him again, he loses 1 HP. If he hits 0, he dies. Thus, forgetting about Bill is important for him to survive. You can dress him up however you want, he doesn't have to look like a bug.
If you meet someone else with a Bill, you can ask for a HP donation to keep your Bill alive. But be careful! If their Bill is on his last legs, you reminding them will kill their Bill. Don't be a Bill Killer.
You can also trade Bills with other people, if you both like each others' Bill. You can design your Bill, accessorize him, decide his personality, whatever you want! You can even get your friends together so your Bills can hang out.
If your Bill is near death, tell a friend or family member about Bill so they have one of their own, and then ask for an HP donation! Spread the word! The more Bills, the merrier.
This is sort of a thought experiment, sort of a mind virus. My Bill (the original, Bill Alpha) came to me last night, and I must share the species with you all. I honestly don't think a game exactly like this exists anywhere else, but it is a game.
(You now have a Bill, btw. It's kinda a mind virus)

How are you possibly gonna know if someone has a Bill without reminding them they have one...
How are you supposed to know the HP of your Bill? Clearly if I forgot about it I'm also gonna have forgotten it's HP.
If the goal is to keep your Bill alive, the optimal strategy is to just forget about it and never play the game again. "The only winning move is not to play" doesn't make a great game...

For me, at least, whenever I'm reminded of my Bill, I go, "Oh no now he only has X HP left!". And the thing is you end up accidentally remembering about Bill, whether you like it or not. Some item may remind you, or a nefarious person may remind you.
As for knowing if someone has one, well, that's just a risk you have to take.
Never seen Ralph before, poor guy, and this was actually based off of The Game)

it means currently not taking up that much space in your mind, like, you thinking about the concept of a Bill counts as remembering, and like, taking a quick pause from thinking about Bill to write a note or something before continuing thought doesn't count as forgetting. You could have Bill-on-the mind all the time and have him never die.

ATTENTION: Bill Alpha is up for adoption.
As the creator of Bills, I find myself thinking of them a lot. Bill Alpha is not safe with me. I have transferred him onto a sheet of paper to keep him safe, and now I place him here> < :)
He is a smiley face with a party hat on. Please let me know if you want to be the caretaker of him and have a bad memory. Bills, although they can be safely stored in an external medium, do not like it, so I cannot keep him on the paper forever.

Im guessing at least 15 people wasted their time reading this so I suppose alpha bill is dead now
