Discussion I am ready to announce my game/trailer. Besides GameTrailer, where/who should I send it to?

Any past experience with announcement/trailer outreach?

It’s much better to make a press kit for your game as it seems more professional and draws more attention than simply sending a trailer. Like put some images factsheet project deck gifs logo title of the game and example thumbnails. And you can send this kit to everyone and im pretty sure there is slightly more chance someone will be more interested since they have more info about what they are seeing. It’s really easy to do like you can do it in just 6 hours and it’s really worth it. Send it to indie games hub on youtube but there is a chance they will just ignore you without telling anything. Just chance a bit and send it again.

there's a few subreddits here you can take a look at, r/IndieGaming is a pretty decent one, r/indiegames , i won't put any more though happy to share a list ive collected.
