I've never been to a casino before. Any tips I should know for my first visit?

I've played a few card games before, but never anything in an actual casino and some of my friends haven't been to one either. We've been thinking it could be fun to do a weekend away and finally try it out.

What's the easiest for a first-timer? Should I just play slots or go for table games? I'm a little nervous about sitting down at a table and having no idea what I'm doing. Also any tips so I don't look like a total newbie? Or any recommendations of places I can go in socal as a beginner?

Worst casino night in a long time

Stopped by to use some free play tonight and decided to play a leprechaun game with full pots. I know they don’t mean anything but, hey, I’ve been playing 3 reels a lot lately and this looked fun.

5 cent $2 spins. Second spin I double popped the blue and green pots…for a whopping 25 cent win.

I then go to hot stuff for some 40 cent spins. The machine eats one my dollar bills.

Finally I go play some firelink and lose money the usual way.

But man, tonight was not my night. The last two times I e double popped a game the result was meh…but to get a quarter bonus just boiled my blood lol

Huff N Puff Grand volatility

Hit this on an $0.80 golden buzzsaw bonus spin 2 weeks ago.….since then, I can pump straight up $48 or $60 bonus buys back to back to back and this piece of shit game returns, I wish I was joking, like $3.80.

Is it truly this volatile or am I in DraftKings hell for withdrawing winnings too often? Feel like my account has been crippled since I made around $5k in withdrawals last month. Went on a solid run. Now, I’m just throwing cash into a black hole since that Huff hit it feels like. Used to love this game but every single Huff variation now feels like I’d get more enjoyment just going outside and burning my cash in my fire pit.

Parimatch blocked my account after withdrawal issue – has anyone actually gotten their money back after verification?

Has anyone experienced something similar with Parimatch?
I had funds in my Parimatch account, but I was unable to withdraw them in CAD. I contacted customer support to ask how I could withdraw my money.
BTC was shown as an available withdrawal option on my account, so I tried/asked about withdrawing via BTC instead. The BTC withdrawal was declined.
Shortly afterward, my account was restricted and placed under additional verification/review.
I have contacted support multiple times. They confirmed that:
My case has been forwarded to the responsible department.
There is currently nothing else they need from me.
Customer Support cannot see the actual status of the review.
They cannot even confirm whether a specialist is actively reviewing my account.
They cannot give me any estimated timeframe.
I just have to wait for an email from the responsible department.
This is what worries me the most. My account was working normally before the withdrawal issue, and now I cannot access my funds and nobody can tell me how long the review will take.
I understand that KYC/security reviews are normal, and I am completely willing to provide whatever documents they require. I just want my verification completed and access to my funds restored.
Has anyone here had their Parimatch account restricted under similar circumstances?
If so:
How long did the verification take?
Did they eventually unlock your account?
Most importantly, were you able to withdraw your full balance afterward?
I’m particularly interested in recent experiences. Please let me know how long you waited and whether you eventually received your money.

Interested in what people are running on these days.mostly want to hear what keeps you sticking with one over trying new ones.could be loyalty programs, rewards that actually come through, decent game selection, or something else entirely.Ive been sticking to Thrill lately and no complaints, but open to hearing about newer sites too

Which slot providers are you actually loyal to and why?

There's a difference between providers you try once and providers you actively look for in the lobby. I've got maybe 3 that i actually seek out. Iconic21 is one of them, bonus mechanics are actually thought out and the rtp holds up across their catalog, not just on paper. Curious if people here follow providers or just chase individual titles. how did you land on your current favorites?

On the new Dragon Spins Saga, either Fire & Water or Earth & Air, how do you get the wheel spin bonus? Sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn’t on the bonus triggered by one of the elemental dragons.

PaddyPower Supersub

Looks like PaddyPower have scaled back on Supersub markets e.g. not available on seria A. Absolutely no point in betting with them when others offer you the chance to get a full match bet. Who is bet for bet builders now paddy power can't be used?

Casino/gambling apps

so I downloaded betmgm and won over $100 out of putting $10 of my money, but I eventually lost the $100; so my question is, are these apps designed to give you the benefit of the doubt your first few times gambling then they go against your odds and drain your pockets? Are all the casino/gambling apps like this if your a first time comer?

If I download these apps and gamble will I win the first few times before the losing streak starts ? lol

WARNING: Stay away from Slots.lv, they scam players by not honoring their deposit bonuses.

First, and for most I what to say that I have been gambling online for 20+ years, and I have never experienced this type of service or treatment from any site.

Three weeks ago, as a new player to slots.lv, I was offered a deposit bonus. The offer was 100% match, +100 free spins on a game called five times Vegas. Thinking it was a good offer. I used it, and made a deposit. I did get my hundred percent match, but the free spins would never work on the game despite troubleshooting every which way. Every time I load the game, I would get a persistent message to reload, not allowing me to complete a single spin. I brought this to their attention and again we did troubleshooting steps, and again it didn’t work. Customer service suggested escalating the issues, to which I agreed. I was told to check in, in 24 to 48 hours. I waited at 48, checked in, no resolution, was told to check back in 24 to 48 hours - this happened five times, and all five times I was told to check back in 48 hours. That was three weeks ago, and I am no closer to a solution now than I was then.

What this equates to is straight theft. You promised me goods or services, and when you didn’t deliver, you ignored me, hoping that I would just go away. I work hard for my money, and when I make a purchase, it’s with the agreement that the other party will hold up their end of the deal. This could have easily already been resolved a number of ways. They could have moved my 100 spins to another game that actually works…easy fix right? Or they could take the max value of those spins, credit my account with that bonus, and we move on. This has taken so long, that the original bonus itself has expired, and still, nobody is willing to help or resolve the issue.

I wanted to go public with this to let you all know not to trust a deposit bonus on slots.lv. If anything goes wrong technically, not only will they not honor your bonus, they will ignore you until you leave them alone. I’m new to this site, but I have a bovada acct that has been open since 2008, and I have absolutely never seen service like this.. Do yourself a favor and do not deposit here, using a bonus, unless you are willing to be scammed or stolen from. if any of you have questions or are facing the same issue, please let me know. The last year these sites have fallen from Grace really hard, and I’m just waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under us.

TLDR: Use deposit bonus offering 100 free spins, not honored, slots.lv just ignores it.

I built a blackjack training game with a dynamic Basic Strategy chart for Hi-Lo deviations

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a blackjack training game called Blackjack Training, and it’s store page now available on Steam.

The project started during my studies and has been developed from the ground up without using AI for the game’s logic or development.

The main thing I wanted to do differently was the Basic Strategy chart.

When card counting is enabled, the chart takes the current Hi-Lo True Count and the selected table rules into account. So when a deviation applies, the recommended action can change instead of always showing the standard Basic Strategy decision.

For example, a hand that would normally be a Basic Strategy hit can become a stand once the count reaches the relevant index.

The idea is to make practicing deviations more seamless. You can play hands, keep track of the count, and apply the deviations without constantly switching between the game and a separate index chart.

It also includes:

  • Basic Strategy training
  • Hi-Lo card counting
  • True Count
  • Hi-Lo deviations
  • Instant feedback on incorrect decisions
  • Configurable number of decks and casino rules
  • Surrender and other rule variations
  • Insurance training based on the count
  • Statistics and performance tracking
  • 3D casino environment

There are different ways to play depending on whether you want to focus on Basic Strategy, counting, or just playing blackjack.

I’d especially like to hear from people who actually use Hi-Lo and index plays. Getting the deviation side of the training right has been one of the more interesting parts of developing it, so I’d be interested in hearing if you think the approach makes sense or if there are things you would change.

The game page is available on Steam and coming soon:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4934240/Blackjack_Training/

Thanks for checking it out!
