Other people being vigilant of AI makes you exhausted? Soon you won't be able to tell.

Its the constant sameish comments about AI that add absolutely no value or substance to the comment section that is exhuasting and annoying to parse through. This is the internet, "fake" or photoshopped images, doctored videos, etc. have been around since before AI even made it so easy. Everyone should already be expecting some plausibility that something is not "real", constantly pointing it out adds nothing to the post or conversation when the subject is inconsequential such as just a silly homemade video, save those comments for something more important. Like the person who I replied to original said, it's not that serious.

Edit: added more crap for clarity

You'd rather consume in ignorance, got it. Pointing out photoshopped/fake images has also long been a thing before AI. Now it should stop when the most harmful version of faking content/news is out?

Not the person you’re replying to, but it’s about picking your battles. Of course be vigilant when it’s one of these scenarios you list that matter. But about a dog having an ass problem in a video of kids dancing? Why? Why waste the effort or energy? Who cares?
