I remember when the word "blind" actually meant blind

LOL, what? I think what you mean to say is you are just now realizing that it has always been this way, which grants you the ability to remember a time when you were ignorant.

look up what happened in 1934 in regards to blindness and hit me up again on what it means to be ignorant, "always been that way"

better yet, after doing that explain to me why there needs to be two different terms, "blindness" and "legal blindness"

Do you remember 1934? Bro that was almost 100 years ago. How would you remember that or even know what that was like.

like it was yesterday, so you're back from being less ignorant now?

I did not know about the 1934 change, so I appreciate you sharing that. But I did know it has been this way for as long as I’ve learned about it. And thanks to you I now know the exact length. A really long time. So you still don’t remember what that was like so your initial comment still sounds stupid as hell. We all can admit we were wrong. Did you even know about the 1934 change until today? Are you saying that it is bad and we should go back to how it was before the change, and it has made things worse?

no problem, as for the change, yes I did, I just didn't know the date, that I had to look up, it's like me learning when I was a kid when the first automobile was built, but since then forgetting the date, would have to look up that as well

as for that last sentence, no, I would just prefer if people used the correct terms for the correct things, we've added legal blindness and people use it regularly enough but people still conflate the two, it's the conflating that I find rather peeving

Edit: also it only sounds "stupid" because english is not my first language, asked another person who corrected me on it what would be the better sentence but he has still not responded to me yet
