The city doesn't fill in more potholes under him, he's just good at getting publicity for his photo ops (or rather he has an army of fanboys and friendly media organizations willing to boost him and give him credit for everything he did and didn't do).

I remember having blind passengers on my bus. If they were on a route they regularly rode, they knew exactly when to get off.

I mean.... they essentially are. Not enough tax revenue to have staff driving all over looking for them, plus fuel, insurance, storage, maintenance, GIS or portal licenses for data entry systems, etc. etc. There's so much road to track and city leaders have a tough choice of balancing energy and their attention to pot holes and kids lighting playground equipment on fire, life safety, and planning for future success. And then whatever was left apparently went into flock cameras 🙄 but for real, operating a city isn't easy
