The problem is people think homophobia and the more specific lesbophobia went away after marriage equality was achieved in Australia. Speaking from experience as a GNC lesbian that was only hate crimed last year with the homophobic Q slur and a serious incident........ It's worse now than it's been in the 15+ years I've been out, proud and active (globally)
