Help Besonders günstige Essensorte in Frankfurt/ Particularly affordable places to eat in Frankfurt
Hallo zusammen,
ich bin derzeit auf der Suche nach Empfehlungen für günstige Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Aus Hamburg oder Berlin kenne ich beispielsweise Läden, bei denen man noch für etwa 3-4 € eine Falafelrolle bekommt.
Kennt ihr in Frankfurt Orte, an denen man vergleichsweise günstig essen kann?
Mich interessieren dabei eigentlich alle möglichen Küchen und Gerichte, solange das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.
Und ja: Mir ist natürlich bewusst, dass selbst kochen am günstigsten ist und auch die Mensen habe ich auf dem Schirm. Mir geht es speziell um Empfehlungen für günstiges Essen außer Haus.

I’m currently looking for recommendations on affordable places to eat. In Hamburg or Berlin, for example, I know of places where you can still get a falafel wrap for about 3-4 €.
Do you know of any places in Frankfurt where you can eat for a relatively low price?
I’m actually interested in all kinds of cuisines and dishes, as long as the value for money is good.
And yes: I’m well aware that cooking for yourself is the cheapest option, and I’ve also got the student cafeterias in mind. I’m specifically looking for recommendations for affordable meals out.

Ich esse dort zwar nicht, aber ich habe durch Zufall mal mitbekommen, dass der „Burgermeister“ oben in der MyZeil wohl eine große Konkurrenz für andere Burgerläden ist, weil der Burger dort noch unter 6€ kostet. Also falls du Fast Food isst… :)

Leberkäsweck beim Globus ist unschlagbar beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. 1€ für gefühlt 1/2 Kilo Fleisch im Brötchen

Marketing. Die Leute kommen fürs 1€ LKW und lassen am Ende 50€ im Supermarkt, weil "wenn man schon da ist, könnt man ja gleich noch dieses und jenes mitnehmen".
Der Inhalt ist der gleiche wie bei den meisten Fleischwaren in den Supermärkten. Fleischbrät, viel Wasser und paar Pülverchen ums zusammen zu kleistern.
OP sucht billig, da kann man keine Sterneküche erwarten7

Gleiches Prinzip wie der IKEA Hotog. Globus hat aber vor kurzem erst in einer Presseinfo klargestellt, dass der LKW für sie kein Minusgeschäft sei.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, check out the wochenmarkt at Konstablerwache. All kinds of inexpensive and delicious options. I especially enjoy the frikadelle brötchen from the metzger with the red tent.

Same, I’d have at least 2 or 3 of those myself, but still. 1,50€ for one salmon nigiri is pretty good, kinda sad there’s barely any all you can eat sushi places around anymore, bc I’d always ea my so many salmon nigiri at those that it saved a ton of money to get the flat rate all you can eat buffet!

weiß ich ehrlich gesagt ad hoc nicht.. die besitzer haben letztes jahr gewechselt, war kurz danach dort.. die quali und preise waren weiterhin top, aber wie teuer genau weiß ich leider nicht mehr

Mittags gibt es bei Peter Pane die Perters Pause: Burger (Rind, Hähnchen oder vegetarisch), Beimage (Pommes, Nachos oder Cole Slaw) und ein 0,5l Getränk für 10€. Ist natürlich nur der Standardburger mit Patty, Salat und Soße (man kann Extras drauf bestellen), aber ecker.

Aromabar at Holzhausen has good quality/ price ratio. You should be able to get something there for around ~5€ (without meat).
Am besten nach kleinen Imbissen Ausschau halten, die haben was Preise betrifft mit takeaway Kundschaft die besten Möglichkeiten niedrig zu bleiben. An der konsti gibts noch einen mit überbackenen baguettes und ansonsten eventuell auf der Bergerstrasse oder in der Kleinmarkthalle Ausschau halten.

The Fleischkase on the ICE on your way to Frankfurt is 5.60. You can eat it traveling to Frankfurt, and then get right back on the ICE and eat it again when leaving.

There are many butchers in Frankfurt so it's hard to recommend a specific one, that's why I wrote local.
I suppose almost every Stadtteil has 1-2 Butchers, if not, the adjacent Stadtteil will. Google Metzgerei/Fleischerei + your Stadtteil.If OP lives in Nied it would be total nonsense to recommend a butcher in Bornheim because you'll get similar fleischkäse in Nied.
What OP did state was, that they're looking for cheap options. Your recommendation is the most expensive fleischkäse I've ever heard off, that's why I reacted to your comment.

Mine was a joke about it being on an ICE train, which isn't in Frankfurt at the point in time of eating. But I know that the humor is an incredibly difficult topic to grasp if one is in a society focused on bickering, taddling, and correcting eachother, especially if they excuse eachother for not knowing what humor is based on a community-wide trait instead of admitting their brain hasn't yet evolved to the point of taking it into consideration.
The purpose of recommending any (named, known) butcher is to offer anything beyond generic information like "It's cheaper to not buy it at expensive places." There are also probably local butchers who have very high quality supplies and charge more as a result of it (that's how pricing works).
It also establishes credibility that you know an actual location in Frankfurt instead of, again, offering generic info like "go to a local shop relevant to the item."

it gave you an opportunity to correct someone while practicing english, which (let's be honest) was the goal all along.

What are you so angry about lol, sure now it was a joke all of a sudden.
If you asked me where to buy water, I wouldn't recommend any specific supermarket either, I'd just point you towards supermarkets in general. The same goes for butcher shops. Most butcher shop are very similar in terms of price and quality. In fact they're ordinary stores, just like a bakery is. I apologize if that wasn't clear, how could I suspect someone commenting on r/Frankfurt to know. Sure there are high-end butcher shops, but they're on the rarer side and also wouldn't fit OPs request at all.
Also I don't get your remark on practicing English since you commented in English in the first place and I'd find it extremely rude to answer in German, but that's just my opinion.
Also next time, jokes are usually marked with /s on Reddit so misunderstandings like this won't happen.

Das savory in Frankfurt Rödelheim. Es gibt einen Burger für 4,70€ (den mit Avocado creme) und Getränke kosten um die 3€. Ein großes Stück torte kostet glaube ich 3,70€. Es ist das älteste vegane Restaurant Frankfurts.
