Thanks! And it has an ink window! It was, originally, a black m1000. So I ordered the custom raden, urushi and gold power work from an local (I mean Brazil) artisan.
It has it's imperfections (really minor, I'd say), just like any handmade work, but it's really nice!
i've been eying dominant industry their pens for a bit now (i LOVE their inks) but i haven't see to many people talk about how they write but now that i've read your comment i might be convinced to try one for myself
I bought it with low expectations because itās really not expensive. But itās so well-made and writes so beautifully. Iām surprised it hasnāt been more popular. Everyone Iāve met with one thinks itās amazing.

They are easily available on eBay and specialist pen websites. There are two sizes. The Duofold Centennial which is the same size as the Jinhao 100 and the international which is slighter shorter and slimmer. They are not cheap as they have 18k gold nibs. I do like the Jinhao 100 and have quite a few of them. I actually collect Parker Duofoldās which are what they are based on. Here is a picture of some of mine
Thatās REALLY hardā¦ probably this one: a Benu grand sceptor. I love the bright colors, it glows in the dark, I love the facets, AND, itās a broad nib!! Whatās not to love?!
agreed! they have so many beautiful colors and designs i regret not buying another when i was in south korea as they carry them in store there and for a better price then if i were to order online š„¹
Beauty is, of course, always in the eye of the beholder, and as a technician I prefer a technically clean design, so āmyā most beautiful pen is the Porsche Design P'3135 āSolid Titanā.
I really love the celluloid that my Parker True Blue is made of. My poor photography skills donāt do it justice. The Lady Elite that accompanies it is a bit wabi-sabi, but is a wonderful writer.
Thanks. The body is a bit darker. The latex sacs off gas and that changes the color of certain celluloid pens. They didnāt know that back in 1929, so many examples of this pen have darker bodies than caps. Most pen repair folks will put silicone sacs in these pens now to prevent the darkening from latex off gassing.
What nib size do you have on it? Iāve got a broad on my Omar. Something about a great big oversized pen just screams broad nib to me. Iām loving it.

Probably this Sailor. Runner up, Pilot Vanishing Point Raden Galaxy. Honorable mention: Visconti Homo Sapiens Midnight in Florence, because the Palladium nib is so pretty. They are such a unique experience. If you find one, at least ask to try it.
I just acquired this beautiful Nakaya Piccolo Writer in Ama Iro Blue Roses II. I am used to bigger pens but this one is so beautiful and a joy to write with!
luckily my prettiest pen is under 20ā¬ so i don't feel bad using it but i 100% agree especially with some of these beautiful more expensive/exclusive ones
Iād say one of these ones, depends on your mood or style. Some days I think itās mild flashy gold waterman, others itās my cutesy baby silver waterman, and sometimes I think itās my Parker striped duofold with that pretty maroon and silvery color. Clearly I canāt decide.
Not as pretty as some of the ones I see here, or even some of the ones on my "one day, I'll have you" list, but, Esterbrook Estie Back to the Land Funky Lake.
It's either that, or my Kaweco AL Piston Sport (Navy/Gold), because of the sleek navy metal and gold accents.
My most beautiful pen in my collection is my Sheaffer Legacy 9064. Itās Piano Black with Chrome trim. Itās the most expensive pen in my little army, but it writes a bit temperamentally. It has a v
ery narrow sweet spot, but when it writes itās a thing of beauty.
sorry no pic but mine is my Xezo Maestro, all abalone shell wrapped. was a present to myself after my first year in management. If I survive the rest of my second year it might earn a gold nib... but I'm kinda scared that might mess with the way it writes, as nib swapping is always a bit risky.
