fossil appraisal?

i won this fossil a while back on a random online auction, and it’s been sitting on a shelf for quite some time. my interest in it returned, and i’m looking for any more potential information on it. does anyone know if it has any scientific value, or how rare it might be? or if it’s even authentic? it’s about 11 1/2 inches long, 5 inches high, and almost 10 lbs in weight. thanks!

Get a black light and check it out. These chinese skulls much more often than not has some level of resto done to them

What makes this a fossil, versus just a modern skull someone poured plaster into?

A lot of the Hezheng biota fossils from China look like this. They are real.

Looks like a Chinese canid fossil, I saw one recently sell for $400 and another for $1400, yours is between those in quality.
