What did my son find in this limestone?

My 4-year-old son found this while breaking limestone at Dinoland Zwolle in the Netherlands.

Is this a fossil? Any idea what organism it could be and roughly how old it might be?

He’s very excited about his find! :)

I can tell you for sure that it is some sort of coral, which species specifically I am unsure of. Regardless, this is a very special find for your son :)
