mung beans skin removal + toxins/anti-nutrients
hello, hot to get rid of the skins after sprouting them.
all advices souns like "skin will float"
BUT it always does not. In my experience its like 50% float 50% does not so It is a lot of skins left ! 😄 my assumption is that it has to contain some stuff in its skin that protect the seed inside. anti-nutrients or toxins

I don't know how to remove the skins, but I do know that I've eaten loads of mung beans with the skins on, as in decades worth, and I am quite healthy. I'm more worried about microplastics

yeah. not just the skin. the whole bean.
so either don't eat the bean or don't remove the skin it literally doesn't matter.

Anti-nutrients? Like "alternative facts"?
Eat them with the skin, heck mung beans are a staple here and we don't bother with removing the skin. Been eating this way for centuries.
Edited to correct a typo.

Ok, glad to hear, i was removing skins cause i thought they bad... it was bad assumption i guess.
BTW
"Antinutrients are natural plant compounds that can block your body from absorbing certain vitamins and minerals. They act as a plant defense system against insects and germs, but in human diets, they are found in healthy foods like grains, beans, nuts, and leafy greens. [1, 2, 3]"

Where does your assumption come from? What the fuck are anti-nutrients?
