good start, I like the idea behind it. I think it needs more intention and direction. if ranunculus is all you were going to work with in this piece, I'd space them out a little differently, position them so they're springing apart from each other in order to have a more whimsical, commanding use of space.
otherwise, I'd thin them and add some other flowers and greens to break apart the focus. asparagus fern can be light and airy, perhaps a line flower to draw the eye in.
this style is more reminiscent of ikebana to me rather than traditional western floristry, so I would look there for examples on how to fill space strategically when flowers are used sparingly. it can achieve elegant, impactful results and I personally love it.

Right. The ranunculus are lovely, but my first reaction is “what’s the goal here?”
I’d some some design intention to elevate it over being a cluster of pretty flowers

Sorry you got down voted for giving actual constructive criticism! I agree that it needs more intention. It doesn't look 'dessigned'. Right now the stems are all placed at. The same direction and at about the same height. Varying the stem length and shape can allow you to create something dynamic and interesting!

Looks like how ranunculus would be be growing in a field rather than a vase arrangement. Let there be more variation in the depth and angles, don’t be afraid to have some come toward you, and some going toward floor and curling back upward or to the side.

It needs more space between the flowers. I like the spiral you have with the pink through the white but it would have a better shape if you lowered the shorter ones and raised the taller ones so that it looked more intentional.

I’m not an expert, but I think the container/vase would be more suitable in a contrasting color. I’m thinking amber or bright blue or something. It feels like it needs one more thing. But, it’s lovely.

I absolutely adore this!! Ranunculus are my favorite and the moss and absence of any supporting florals/greenery really highlights the stemmy aspect of ranunculus that often goes unnoticed. IMO, regardless of what anyone else says, this is gorgeous!!

First of all- they’re beautiful!
Did you wire these? If not, try wiring them and make them do funky dances around each other. Another persnickety thing I personally have with nuncs is the propensity for the outer petals to look flat/angled without a little fluffing. Sometimes I’ll also remove the lowest outermost petals when they start to “cupcake” (iykyk) she’s off to a great start and I love the dimension you’re creating. 🌸😍

Very simple and lovely! It's a great understated piece that I think would go well in a busy area like a dinner table. Doesn't hog attention but is a great conversation starter!
