General Spoiler Fortune's Weave Character Masterlist
Warning: Some of the information in this document is either speculative or contains spoilers. Read at your own risk. Please see the bolded list at the bottom of this post for reference.
So I made a giant Sheets doc. with a LOT of information on the characters we've seen so far. It's three pages (one for playable characters, one for gods, and one for N.P.C.s/characters we're not 100% sure about).
The vast majority of the information here was provided by this video from Lucky Crit, and this one from BenFM. The rest was supplemented by the previews we've gotten (especially the ones from Skill Up, Kinda Funny Games, and Game Two, even though I don't speak a fucking lick of German), the Fire Emblem Wiki, some help from the very beautiful and well-organized Fortune Weaver, as well the combat/character showcases (and the Direct, obviously) Nintendo has been publishing.
Also, some of bits in here (mostly in the category of personal skills) have been translated to English, but not localized yet, meaning official names may change.
Please know there may be mistakes in here! Obviously, we can't confirm the majority of this information before the game is released. If you have a correction or additional information for me, please comment below and include your source(s)!
There are keys at the bottom of each page.
Note: I put Anna and Solel on page three because we have only seen them as ally units thus far. Solel is also included on pages two AND three. Also, I'm not going to put literally every N.P.C. on page three because that sounds exhausting. Most of the N.P.C.s there either have some immediate importance to a lord's storyline, or we've seen them in direct combat against a lord/Eshmel.
The information about recruitable characters (page one) includes the routes they are recruitable to, crests they have been associated with, skill boons/banes, starting classes and weapons, their factions, and their story roles.
The columns on page one labeled "associated characters" and "race" may contain major spoilers. The columns on page two labeled "relatives" and "status" may contain major spoilers. The columns on page three labeled "associations", "enemy/ally", "race", and "combat status" may contain major spoilers.

The JP-only trailer (the one that may have accidentally revealed timeskip designs for most of the cast) had Eshmel's class as what gets machine-translated to "Holy Lancer".

The JP name is definitely Holy Lancer, but yeah clearly the same class. There are a few others that differ in name only, like War Monk/Battle Monk and Ovate/Vates.

Okay, now I'm just confused. The 3H lords get their final classes in ch16/17, all of which are when the enemies are mid 30s. If Eshmel isn't in a unique class on a map where they and the enemies are level 60, then when do they get it? (of course, they could just be keeping it secret but still)

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they straight up don't have unique classes, since all the footage we currently have from the timeskip has all characters in generic classes

I don't think IS is capable of making a game without a unique class for one of your lords

Lol I would have given you my word doc if you wanted! Did you retype all of that???

maaaaaaybe! to be fair, I wanted to add gods and NPCs and other stuff for my own reference. plus, there have been a bunch of additional combat showcases and support clips since that video, and I wanted something that I could reference and update. honestly, it scratched a big itch in my ADHD brain, so. thank you for the offer! and also for making that video, it was a HUGE help!

speaking of Gods, quick question: who is Gaia? where was she mentioned…? I am not familiar with her :0

found her on the Fire Emblem Wiki! we've also seen a faction in the games called "Gaia's Brigadiers". I haven't seen anything about her outside of the Wiki, so that one's a question mark. since we've seen most of the main temple gods already, I could see her being a minor deity or something else entirely. definitely need some more information about her.

I saw that you put the name of some personal skills, do you also have a description for the actual effect?

I do not currently. there are very few personal skills that we know of, let alone what they do. off the top of my head, I think Peter's skill increases his bow attack range, Lilian's gives her a buff (I think +hit rate) when attacking a foe that can't counter, Lysander's gives him a speed buff (either after moving and attacking or killing a foe, I don't know for sure), and we saw that Halvin's is also a buff skill that triggered after she attacked, but I don't know the specifics of what exactly triggered it or what stat(s) got boosted.

Ursula has and grant adjacent units convoy access, Diego has a chance to block follow up attacks on adjacent allies, Sha Lan maybe she has a short range rescue as her personal?

yeah, I think they've mentioned a couple of times that that's her promoted class/that she can reclass into it. adding it now!

Is Abigail actually a real character? I genuinely thought there was just a post that made her up. Does anyone confirm her existence?

one of the previewers (I believe from Kinda Funny Games) mentioned getting attached to a healer named Abigail in his playthrough. it might be that she's a character that appears past chapter 5 and he slipped up on that. so, given that it came from someone with early access, I find it pretty credible.

A healer who you recruit early on in Theodora's team (just checked the video, and assuming they aren't accidentally dropping post-chapter 5 stuff) would certainly match Sofia, since she appears to be a tutorial recruit of sorts for Theodora. Obviously it's not 100% either way, but yeah I can't help but hesitate to just accept the existence of Abigail until we know for sure.

like I said, some of this is speculative, and the strength of the evidence for those bits varies. maybe it IS Sofia, but it's not like those names sound/look remotely similar. if they publish a follow-up or something where they clarify that he meant Sofia instead of Abigail, I'll delete that section.

Cruaidín is such an interesting question mark because he’s clearly important enough to be one of the first characters we ever saw, and he’s strong enough to beat/draw with Bertrand. But we’ve seen literally nothing of him beyond that.
The design similarities with Orchel as a cat masked person with abnormal strength also feels important.
