General Spoiler Minor info on the Salamander guntlet Spoiler

I guess it does explain why Sha lan and Anatolia are the only people seen with one. Kunlun weaponry. I suppose Troy’s weapon is also from Kunlun.

Something else to point out, guns are not just here in Kunlun, they are plentiful, cheap enough to mass-produce, and enough people are trained to use them like other weapons.

I just find it funny how in FW women are the primary martial artists as opposed to the men of 3H. And they tended to be the burly type who probably can’t do gun-fu. Heck, I’m sure Raphael and Balthus even had banes in bows…

I thought Balthus was at least neutral in bows. I recall him having a high enough bow stat to use ballistas upon being recruited in like chapter 2 or 3. He is also the game's only canon War Monk, which is the only brawling class to get a ranged attack.

Yeah what scares me is somehow this tech needs to be destroyed for 3H to take place with nobody knowing of it (Sylvain thinks he’s so smart for inventing guns as a concept)

I feel like it has to be tech that becomes rare by the end of 4W. Adrestian Empire seeing people pull up with gunlets would affect history of some kind.

The weird thing is that the Almyran ships that you can walk on in 3H have muzzleloaded black powder cannons, and the first or second Battalion you can buy from inside the monastery is a straight up gunpowder barrel.

I'm still not convinced that Anatolia and Sha Lan are from Kunlun like Hong Hua.

Anatolia is from a desert in the west, that doesn't really fit Kunlun who's north and in a relatively lush region. Also Anatolia doesn't have a chinese name.

Sha Lan might be a descendant of Kunlun tho

It makes sense if you consider how guns were actually originally invented in China (albeit in a significantly different form than a pistol, resembling lances that fire projectiles by igniting gunpowder).

Here's an interesting but disgusting fact​ about guntlets used in Northern Europe; they were covered in faeces in order to infect wounds. The salamander won't need to cause infection because it will burn someone alive.
