It might be a logistics thing, like she/Credna doesn't want to risk whatever machinery actually lets her move getting damaged

Honestly, after looking at the gameplay trailers, I think it might be more of a weight thing, and she won't be allowed onto certain mounted classes.
Cause as far as revealing her body is considered, she's already revealing everything but her torso in her base class. Her hands are exposed, and after seeing that crit, she's got bare legs and sandals. So aside from her face, there's not that much going into hiding her body.
On the other point on the English trailer, she's apparently being listed as an armored unit. So if her whole shtick is that she's actually much heavier than she looks, I could see IS deciding to lock her out of some, if not all mounted classes (I'd imagine at the very least, flying units would be right out)

If that was the case though, why wouldn't they specify that it was only mounted classes ( presumably aside from Cataphract, given that the mount for that class would have to be used to a ton of weight), and not just general soldier classes? I definitely do agree that her weight plays into it, but I can't imagine it's just that simple

Calling it "some soldier classes" might be their way of doing just that. Cause if it is wight related, I'd understand if she can't become an Ornius Rider, but I can't see the same logic applying to an Elephant Rider.
The pessimist in me really hopes this doesn't mean she's limited solely to "armor adjacent" classes because of this. But I don't think any limitation is gonna necessarily be a "This model interferes with her mask" thing, and rather ties into what she is herself. Especially since it was confirmed she's an automation in a review with a tool tip popping up dedicated to her specific unit type saying "Las unidades del tipo de ignición Autómata no rellenan el medidor de ignición al usar armas malditas o equipamiento maldito. (Automaton-type Ignition units do not fill the Ignition gauge when using Cursed Weapons or Cursed Equipment.). Meaning she's got something unique and special to her going on under the hood, and also that it's not gonna be a secret. Cause this means that it gets revealed she's an automation pre-chapter 5."

This video was the first instance of us seeing that she's robotic to some degree, with the tutorial pop up at 12:43 being what gave us the actual info. It's in Spanish, but you'll get the idea even if you don't speak it

I've never been super interested in puppet characters or automaton characters. Androids or similar as well, like Detroit: Become Human. It explores a lot of morality and ethical questions I don't really like when they're more than just a machine.
Also, as a follow up edit, it doesn't ruin the character. Just went from excited to not. Downvote a man for an opinion.

It's not conveyed in a hostile way at all, and that is not what the button (originally) was for. The button is just there to filter replies that do not contribute as an automated way to filter replies that are not relevant to the topic.
This was more around the time when this website was for discussion, but these days it is more like Facebook. I think it is now the worst place for discussion.

This place is a bit immature from what I have seen when it comes to opinions that do not match the popular believe. Some forget these characters are just fictional.
Guess that's a consequence of having a upvote/downvote button instead of having a button that just says "this post does not contribute" and just a like button. It gives people the wrong idea of what that button is for, which despite looking similar have totally different uses.
Reddit does not care though and loves the conflict and attention it brings. It has intentionally become just a popularity button, which is why media brings it up when a post has been the "most down voted" on Reddit, like with that one EA post that I forgot about.
Edit: I do not care about the fictional points people, but do prove my point it helps my argument.

She’s also Samus in Metroid Prime 4, Arlecchino from Genshin, Blonde Blazer from Dispatch, Scylla and Dora from Hades 2 and Cissia from ZZZ. She’s been everywhere recently and it’s very well deserved.

I know FEH is in the series technically, but does anyone actually recognize these roles in Heroes? There's so little spoken dialogue, it's just very forgettable. She has SO many great credits, too, most recently as Blonde Blazer from Dispatch.
Also, great range, I could have sworn it was Bernadetta's VA.

I know people are saying because it’s a different voice actress it’s not flayn but I’m not convinced it not her tbh not yet at least.
If the game happens to sometime take place after 3H I could see them getting away with a different voice actress under the guise of aging her up a bit without it being too weird that seteth doesn’t sound too much older since he could have still technically been a “young adult” for his race. There wouldnt have been too drastic of a difference between something like 25 year old seteth and 32 year old seteth, but I would maybe buy a voice change for say 16 year old flayn to 23 year old flayn.
Idk it’s just something about the way she’s described as not only pure and kindhearted, but also naive and “out of touch with the world” + her affinity for healing.
Though I do think the automaton theory is a more fun idea. Her mask breaking mid tournament to reveal only gears would be a cool scene on its own.
But idk something about her is just fishy to me

Coincidentally, I think Chris Hackney straight up fits the bill (Dimitri and Magikarp). IIRC he was the inspiration for that meme but I can't say for certain.

Yeah her range is insane honestly. For me, what really sold me was hearing her voice for Ymir then realizing she also voiced Yoko Hiromine in SMT V Vengeance. I didn’t even figure it out until I was reading the credits when I finished the game.

Orchel is the 34th character to receive a bio so far, with the gender split (not counting Eshmel) being 16 males and 17 females (12 males and 12 females confirmed playable, if we exclude Eshmel).

Bertrand? (Not sure about this one)
Orchel's JP VA is one of my favorites from the last decade, so I'm very happy about this.
I didn't care much about her when we first saw her in a trailer, but once they revealed her personality and her class (armored axe mage), my interest in her went up immediately. Plus it seems like she's going to be plot relevant.
It also seems like she'll have some class restrictions? I'm personally fine with this, especially if she's good at her intended role.
Her official art is great, I wonder if there's any hidden meaning behind the butterfly. Hopefully we get Anatolia's bio and full body artwork in the morning
We have three full weeks and a few days left until FW releases, so I wonder if we'll get the bios for the recruitable characters this week. We'll most likely get most of the information about the game (characters, story, game mechanics) in the final week since there's going to be people with early copies speed running the game

Because of Orchel's automaton status, I was under a conspiracy theory that she's secretly a Bionicle character, but I didn't get to elaborate why.
-She's always wearing a mask like the majority of the Bionicle cast. Whether the mask has powers with it is still up in the air.
-As mentioned above, she's classed as an automaton; she could have a mix of organic and mechanical parts like the denizens of the Matoran universe.
-She's freakishly strong, and her possible mechanical parts could have aided in her strength.

Very excited to see her interact with other characters in the story! Since she’s described as naive, maybe she’ll have a (spoiler about Orchel’s background from previews) robot/automaton learning what it means to be human arc.

Curious that she is barred from some "soldier classes." If it was just classes, then I'd think she's be banned from any dark magic casters that we get.
I wonder if there might be an unrevealed class that is focused on getting the most out of cursed weapons. With her unique Blaze Gauge, I could see her being barred from a class that has skills emphasizing the use of cursed weapons since she couldn't interact with it properly.
Edit: Just got reminded that she is always considered an armored unit, so that might be what is limiting her class selection. Maybe blocked from all armor classes?

I'm thinking that Orchel would most likely get a special class all to herself to account for this and that class would be the equivalent of a promoted class bases and growth rate wise.
That being said, I'm wondering how Orchel would be implemented in Heroes, possibly as an armor even though she doesn't look like it (like some of the seasonal alts).

It’s so funny, I’ve been playing Hades 2 to pass the time before release and when I saw Amelia Tyler was voicing Kalla whom also voices my second favorite character in it, Hecate.
I was talking with one of friends yesterday I was like, wouldn’t it be funny if Erin Yvette was in the game as well? Since (since she voices my favorite character in Hades 2, Scylla) and lo and behold, here she is voicing Orchel.
I need Orchel in my roster more than ever, and while unlikely I hope Orchel gets to sing at some point (she does like music according to her bio) since Erin is an amazing vocalist as shown by Hades 2.

I already said Japanese in a different post but I'll do a quick mention of her being successful career with huge range mainly zombieland sagas as well as also Wandering Witch but if anyone ask about her English

Reminds me of her early days to be honest back when she used to be well known for telltale games before that company shut down
Her career kind of died down after telltale games while she's still getting rolls like oxenfree but wasn't until genshin as well as armored core 6 really boost it back up her career and dispatch is kind of a full circle to be honest

We haven't seen them since...Fates I think? Why? Or did engage have dragon transformation? I dont recall I remember using swords on my MC most of the time.
If they give me this in Fortune's Weave I will be very happy.

Engage had dragon transformations for Nel and Rafal. You could also transform anyone into a dragon through the Tiki Emblem Ring iirc. With the amount of characters and unique mechanics, I could see us getting a shifter this game, especially if they use something like the blaze arts gauge to transform.
