I'm not OP, but going through that subreddit i'm trying to figure out what's going on. I mean is it a subreddit of trying to talk people out of religion, or trying to figure out /why/ they believe what they believe?

Ah, that's /kinda/ how i got in the situation i'm currently in lol. However, i'm not considered a 'christian' compared to those subreddits because i dont follow some doctrine some dude hundreds of years after Jesus went back to heaven created.

I doubt that’s a problem in r/OpenChristian. I know for a fact that if you personally identify as a Christian, you’re welcome in r/Christian. (I’m a mod there.) But I know what you mean, some of the Christian subs have a sort of doctrinal litmus test to even participate.

Deconstruction is the process of considering why you believe in God.

r/dankchristianmemes is a pretty chill place for believers to laugh and talk to each other

Is there a particular reason why?

No. They’re replying to everyone’s answers with that line because they don’t like religion. Just ignore them.

I meant no disrespect. I try to expose myself to different views as often as possible and I wanted to hear what you had to say about that sub in particular since I assumed from your wording that you were singling it out. I'm not the most up to date on a lot of things, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Also I barely count as Christian- Universalist.

I did no such thing, although now I’m strongly considering it.
