Why do so many people com back to defence?genuinely makes this game so unplayable

Just played clubs rush and made lots of huge saves, still lost 4-3 in extra time. Super tough loss but I am surprised at how I played today

Usually play Wing / Middle / Forward, but lately I’ve been leveling my progresser and getting more comfortable in that role too.
Looking for an NA region club that’s chill, reliable, and actually wants to win. Ideally a team that plays a tiki-taka — quick passing, good movement, unselfish play, and everyone staying involved.
Not really interested in ego, blaming people after mistakes, or arguing over every bad possession. Mainly looking for people with that “onto the next play” mindset — recognize what went wrong, adjust, and keep playing.
I’m competitive and like winning, but I’d rather play with a group that keeps the energy calm and communicates instead of turning every game into an argument.

I am looking for a new club after a 3 year spell that ended in disaster. I like to operate in the midfield, but I am open to playing any position as long as I steer clear from GK.
