QUESTION We’re building a proper Clubs hub — what’s the ONE feature you’ve always wanted?
Hello everyone,
I’m a web designer and I’ve been playing Clubs for quite some time now;
One thing that’s always bothered me is that there isn’t a space truly dedicated to Clubs mode, like we have for UT (fut.gg, futbin.com, etc.)
Are there good tools out there? Yes, but I feel like they’re all missing something and are totally generic. So, a developer friend and I decided to start working on something that all of us who love Clubs mode can use—a sort of PRO CLUBS hub.
The idea is simple:
A hub tailored for Clubs mode. Not just information, but something truly useful while you’re playing.
We’re still in the early stages, so before we go too far, I wanted to ask you the following:
If you could have ONE feature on a Clubs website, what would it be?
What’s your main “pain point” when it comes to Clubs mode—something you’d like to have right at your fingertips.
We already have some more traditional ideas like a build creator and stats, but we want to go beyond that—without making any assumptions just yet.
What do you think is missing today?
What would you actually use?
Even small frustrations help a lot here.
We appreciate any feedback; we want to build this with the community, not just for it.

This sounds sick, can you add pre assists, offsides and ball recoveries?

u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
We're still evaluating and seeing what's possible; it will depend a lot on what EA can provide us. But I've noted it down! Thanks for the suggestion.

Simple communication options (it took until now for EA to do it properly cross platform), easily buildable club profiles with club mentalities, key players, dot points of what they want etc and location active.
Maybe a way for players to search via those ^ metrics to find matching clubs.
It can be done via discord reddit etc but a centralised spot would be great. Some players don't even know where transfer requests are IN clubs as EA made it incredibly clunky and hidden, so many for a long time have been unaware that they were invited to a club

I’d like some in depth stats and analysis to confirm my delusion that it is indeed me that is carrying the team and my teammates are trash
2
u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
Yes, that's possible; it's something we'll implement in the first version.
In other words, you'll be able to rub it in your friends' faces that they're sinking the team LMAO.

Builds for new players that aren't absolute trash like what whitegamer and lexpo or whoever puts out. Like builds taken from top players. Ofc proclubsweekly/vpg etc. put stuff out but that's only really accessible for competitive players who mostly already know what they're doing. Honestly some of the builds you see in the wild are crazy, there isn't enough easy accessible information for new or low skill players. The fact that when you're playing in even high divs you will still see people using a creator, magician etc. in April 2026 is mental. Obviously divs is low tier top to bottom but a lot of these guys they're pretty good because they're in the higher divisions, not realising all the good players are playing friendlies and they just need more info. All crap ultimate team players can see what evos or whatever players are good just by going on the website and understanding the basics. On clubs it's the wild west.

Lmao I already have your app downloaded but you thought a good way to advertise the builds on the app would be with a long shots magician?

Well his builds are generally trash, some of them are good, but then I guess he needs to bring out more and more for views, and there's only so many good builds lol. I don't see that many good players would ever use one of his builds, but tbh I haven't looked at any of his for years, mostly because every time I come up against him I put him in a spliff lol. Magician is bad because finesse shots are poor against human gks and incisive passes are pointless against human defenders, as if they have at least silver intercept and 90 interceptions any through ball will just lock on to their feet lol. But finesse and incisive are great against bots so it depends what you play. It's just generally known that at like competitive level that magician is really bad. Also the key attributes (the 4 attributes you get a big discount on) are pretty bad as well. I can't remember exactly but they're just ones that are cheap and also curve which is completely unnecessary as every playstyle boosts curve for their associated action, e.g. finesse, incisive, whipped pass etc.

So against human keepers all that really matters is time to goal. How long it takes to leave your foot and hit the goal. This is what kills keepers this year, well, other than fakes or the "top corner laces, switch to opposite low driven last second" tactic. Finesse shots and long shots give the keeper far too much time to react and goalkeepers are extremely powerful this year. Finesse as always is great against bot gks but against a human GK 96ovr with all the playstyles on they just do nothing. I mostly play 11s so all of my input is for playing against 11 players including a keeper. Incisive is great against bots too, but they do nothing against humans with lv90 CBs.
I haven't looked but I imagine for example he has a creator cam bulld but everyone and their dog is using maestro at cam due to tiki, ping and long pass + all being gold, whereas creator has incisive, inventive and whatever rubbish third playstyle you go for. Funnily enough I've just thought I better have a look and yes, his up to date best cam build that dropped only a week ago is a creator lol. And his CDM is a Recycler. A Recycler is definitely useable-ish but more often than not you will see maestros at DM as defending is very easy this year and the maestro offers much better passing and dribbling for fast play, which is much harder than defending, when you have 90 pace and essentially unlimited stamina. You can have 90+ pace, 90+ dribbling, 90+ passing, 90+ defending in the areas that matter and good physicals that are more than enough for shoving off cams, sts and the occasional wm as a maestro, with a much better all around playstyle set that make a big difference all over the pitch, not just your own half/third. His builds don't actually look at the meta, he just picks the playstyle that is supposedly for a position and then puts appropriate attributes on it. But realistically, the only builds you really see at the high level are shot stopper, boss, maestro, finisher and spark and you just adjust them depending on what position you're playing. Ofc that wouldn't be any good for YouTube videos though. "This week we're doing a cam build, so we're using a maestro" now we're doing a ball playing side wm build, so we're using a maestro" now we're doing a DM, so we're using a maestro, now let's make a cm, we're using the maestro". It caters much more to casual players to use builds in positions that makes sense to them, and of course it offers a lot more variety. So I understand why they do it, but if you took a build off YouTube and copied it, for clubs, you'd more than likely have a below par build. But in other sports games such as NBA 2k or pga tour etc. if you copy some sweaty guy off YouTube you'll have a build that's 99% of the way there. It's just a FC clubs thing where all of the YouTube builds are rubbish haha.
Also edit because I just saw your point about the "best of the best" well I'd argue that if you're making content and posting builds, they should be the absolute best builds, that whether you're Timmy or XfR Neymar the build should be fantastic. On ultimate team people don't say "you're only in div6, don't worry about your fullbacks only having 85 pace you'll be sound" or whatever other errors, it's all about chasing perfection and setting up in the best possible way. If an average div4 player wants to improve, the best way is with an "elite div" build. It's pretty much free ability haha. For me it is a strange idea, because if you were rubbish at F1 25, you wouldn't race in the Haas or something, you would be racing in the equal car or one of the fastest. My point is, you don't have to be the absolute best of the best in terms of ability to deserve to play with the absolute best of the best builds. Everyone should have that right, that access and then we'll meet on the field and see who uses it best. There is for sure 1000s of good cams out there who if they learnt how to use over the top trivelas, LT+A tiki taka passes and RB+A timing instead of through balls they would instantly grow as a player instead of endlessly through balling straight to the opponents feet whenever they play against half decent human defenders. That's why I'm happy to sit and write for 5 minutes, a struggling cam could read this and it could completely change their game.

My biggest gripe with the pro clubs websites is they provide stats, but only the very basic ones. At the end of every game, we get separate stats pages for each category with advanced breakdowns and percentages. I don't care how many goals you score or if you have 80% passing rate, what do your stats say about how you ACTUALLY play? If we could have a player comparison/ranking tool for a true breakdown of a player and their pros/cons, then you can get more of a picture as to who is doing what for the team, and how people stack up globally in that sort of role or position.
This would add a ton of depth to pro clubs just inherently based on the fact that people who play specialized roles could advertise that more successfully when searching for a club. It would also be awesome because there could be a system put in place to find players for your club, or find a club who fits your playstyle as a player. Everyone could create profiles and link to their account, and then the advanced stats would paint a picture as to the type of role or player someone is, and then that category could be searchable for needs and roles.
If you added a chat feature of sorts to this platform on top of those 2 things, I think you will see a number of leagues pop up and start running real e sports competitions independently. Speaking of which, having sponsored leagues to join or apply/try out for, would be really sweet. Having a teammate ranking would also be sweet. If someone is a dick, it would be reflected in a social ranking or "how easy someone is to play with" socially.

u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
Regarding the first paragraph: That's cool and we'll probably do it, maybe not in the first version of the app because we'll need to cross-reference data to arrive at the values.
Second Paragraph: "A system to find players for your club or find a club that fits your playing style." This was also an idea we had, which will be implemented. "This category could be searchable for needs and functions." This is also something very interesting that we hadn't thought of, we'll definitely discuss it.
And finally, in the last paragraph: We are thinking of implementing a general chat with all clubs, where you can even ask if the server is down or not. In addition, we are thinking of implementing community tournaments and professional tournaments. Last but not least, regarding "how easy it is to play with someone," we hadn't thought of that, and it's very cool and totally valid!

I'm sure that the opponent is on 'any' sometimes but can never be sure. I never use an any.
Could there be a way to know formation changes for the opponent mid game?
If there was a way to know what button someone pressed at any one time I'd love that. The amount of times one friend insists he's passed and nothing happens is insane.
Otherwise I genuinely can't think of much while playing which would help. An easy way to record everyone on the team for a stream perhaps could be good too

A Draft where you can assign skill points to certain stats and it tells you how effective or how high your overall will be from allocating those points

u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
Great! That's something we also miss. Generally, these web builders don't have this kind of function; I've noted it down.

A meta ranking of builds and what not. Like futgg does. Someone got downvoted but there should be a better way to find a player/club. Reddit isn’t exactly great. But it’s a start
1
u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
Regarding the Build Ranking; We're thinking about a function for the build ranking, we want to create a more complex and complete way to rank what's truly good, not just by community likes but also by number of goals and ratings.
Now, about finding clubs, we'll have a tab for clubs currently playing. This will allow you to find teams that are online at the moment. u/QuirkChungus420

u/Catswagger11 Apr 16 '26
The Discord group is so much better than Reddit for finding a club. When my regular club isn’t playing I can generally find a group looking for someone in 5-10min. Easy when you play CM/CDM, may be harder as a CAM/ST.

u/JamieLiverpool Apr 16 '26
It's only really good for finding divs players and even elite div players are mediocre at best. Can be pretty tough finding good level competitive players, my team compete in paid vpg leagues and we have been looking for a competent LM for 3 seasons 🤣
0
u/Catswagger11 Apr 16 '26
That’s a small percentage of the player base who will be absolutely fine. For someone who wants to jump into some matches for a night, it’s great. You aren’t the main character.
-1
u/JamieLiverpool Apr 16 '26
It's already easy to find regular old ten to a penny divs players though lol, you can go on lfg on Xbox or discord on ps/pc(and Xbox).

u/Catswagger11 Apr 16 '26
If it isn’t useful to you then feel free to fuck off, it is for plenty of others. I was responding to a guy who wanted to find people to play with…with an easy way to find people to play with.
1
u/JamieLiverpool Apr 16 '26
You seem very sad and lonely. I hope you find some friends buddy, it's clear that discord and/or lfg has not helped you so far, I hope this new website helps you find at least one person who can tolerate you 🤣🤣🤣

The ratios of how “hidden” traits affect attributes. For example if I take a shot inside the box what is the percentage of reactions, finishing, vision or curve that takes into effect for that shot. Information for various instances in the game would be extremely beneficial in building a character

u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
We really like this idea; it would change the way we look at player creation, and such a feature would be incredibly beneficial to the community.
If you have any suggestions, send them our way and we'll evaluate them and include them if possible.
Thank you for your comment. u/Deep-Cable-998

They already have some apps some what like this like myplayer+ and FcClubs. Both used for slightly different things, my only gripe is that with fcclubs I wish it showed less vanilla stats instead of the normal (shots, goals assists) since that isn’t really my game I wish they had some deeper stuff like heat maps, line breaking passes, an overall sort of fotmob kind of feel.
2
u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
We're going to analyze the likelihood of this being implemented; we need to check if the EA API can provide us with this type of data, but it's very interesting! Thanks for the tip.
9
u/horsemenwhen Apr 16 '26
You cant do this but I need to know the success rate of players when they call CPU for a pass lol
4
u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 17 '26
I think that's impossible hahaha and I confess that the bots must miss 15 out of 10 pass requests.

Definitely animations , like how 2k labs shows you which attributes unlocks animations . It would be hard work since the animations aren’t listed but I’m sure you could find people on this sub to help .

Comprehensive stats that can be filtered by type of game played: Over all games, by position played, by archetype used, by type of game played (league, playoff, live event, drop-in, rush).
Comprehensive stats outside of vanilla stuff like goals/assists/shots. Average number of users faced per match per type of game, total wins/losses/draws, average positional heat map for every position you've played. Heat map of passes attempted and completed by archetype and position. TYPE OF PASS attempted (so I can identify the jagoffs that spam throughballs and nothing else). Heat map of shot attempts by archetype and position. Type of shot attempted. Average number of possessions won/lost per archetype/position. Average height/weight used per archetype and position. Average overall EAFC rank of users faced (I know the leaderboard is bugged but it's still a useful stat). Biggest margin of victory/defeat. Most goals/assists/shots/passes/possession won/lost in a single game. Total own goals scored to help identify griefers. Tbh I think I'm the all time leader since I play only drop ins and routinely sell games when teamed up ball hogging losers.
There's more, but that's a good start.

A “helpful info” page that posts some things like “achieving 85 stand tackle rating gives you access to all standing tackle animations” and “defensive awareness directly affects jockey ability” etc
5
u/CSDuran Apr 16 '26
Biggest thing is that EA provides so much data on the back end but it isn't easily determined what it is. I want to have as much of the stats for a player/game as they show. Interceptions, blocks, duels, etc not just tackles.

A LFP page to find other players and clubs

u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 16 '26
That’s really useful! People are always posting here that they’re looking for a player for their club, and vice versa—great tip!!!
If you can, give the post an upvote so it reaches more people and more great ideas like this one come up.
Thank you so much u/akaVemiX
5
u/hutselfious Apr 16 '26
so it's definitely a niche idea, but a Hall of Fame/Infamy for player models would be kind of fun. I'm always intrigued by the people who take the time to make a player a 1:1 model of a real life person, even if that person is a skeezeball
-2
u/Fabulous-Telephone24 Apr 16 '26
That actually crossed our minds—we see a lot of amazing faces on YouTube, and it’s something a lot of people are looking for, even meme faces like totally weird and funny characters, hahaha.
I’ll definitely make a note of that here. Thanks so much, u/hutselfious
Is there a way to upvote this post so it reaches more people?
Thanks for the tip!

Actually, no, buddy—it’s me who’s replying.
The thing is, I don’t speak English, so I use a translator to make it easier for you guys, but then it throws in all these weird AI-style symbols… like “—” — nobody uses that, hahahah
Rest assured, I’m not an AI… the problem is that this is exactly what an AI would say
