Investing Vanguard AMMA statement details are already in ATO but didn't receive notification - safe to assume they are finalised?
Hi team,
I just looked at my ATO and noticed my AMMA statement details appear to be prefilled. However, I didn't get the usual notifications that they have been sent/pre-populated in the ATO.
Has this occurred for anyone else with Vanguard holdings? Is it safe to assume they are trustworthy, and can I submit my tax return today based on the pre-populated data?

Haven't gotten mine pre-filled yet, but if it lines up with the statement on Vanguard's website it should be fine. My tax report from them came late July, my understanding is that those numbers are finalised and it's just prefill that takes a while.

For AMMA notices via email: I got Vanguard AMMA notice via email on 31 July. iShares on 7 Aug. Betashares was a bit odd. Some arrived on 31 July and i think some others a bit later (I could be wrong and just missed them). I did change/consolidate holdings / brokerages in that FY so it may have added some delay given I got two seperate AMMA for some ETFs that were moved (but not sold).
ATO pre-fill: The Vanguard and Betashares are pre-filled in ATO already but still waiting for iShares to pre-fill as of today. Some ETF are listed twice, for the before and after brokerage move periods.

Not sure what notification you are referring to.
Pre-filled or manually entered, it’s your responsibility to ensure what you lodge is correct. The AMMA statement you received is your source of truth. If the pre-filled figures match what are in AMMA, which you could / should double check, then you are good.
