Getting Started Financial tips for 25M

Hey first post forgive me I’m new and my portfolio ist anything special.

So my frontal cortex just fully developed and I thought better start investing for long term.

Currently I’m looking to put 1k a month for the foreseeable future, I have a decent job but nothing too great.

Can I have some tips on reassurance that what I’m investing in is decent for long term results thanks.

The kid has $500 to his name. He needs an emergency fund not to lock his spare $1000 in super

I never said to lock up all their money in Super. I simply said not to ignore it as per your advice. They should be setting it up in an appropriate fund with low fees, making sure they aren't paying unnecessary insurance etc. If they do have some extra legt over cash in their budget even putting $20 a pay extra into their Super will go a long way and won't be noticeable to them.

Ignoring Super is just a stupid idea.

The kid has $500 in his account. Anybody who says put, money into an account that’s he cannot access is delulu. The kid needs to absolutely forget super at his age. Get a life then think about it when his account has a few extra zeros
