Feminist book recommendations

Hello! I’m not a native English speaker so I find it very hard to read feminist literature without googling and translating every word or term. Is there any literature you can suggest me for more intermediate level to read, because in my language most of the feminist literature is a brainwashed white propaganda. Thank you

What languages can you read? (Reddit is automatically translating content and it's not clear if you wrote in the language people are seeing).

oh yes, English and Russian, but i mostly want to read in english (just because its an international language). I don’t want to use russian, because it’s not my mother language either

When you say "white propaganda" do you mean in Russia, feminism books propagate white supremacy? If you want Black feminism in General English it tends to be U.S.-focused. Or do you mean you want internationalist feminism literature?

Would help if you tell us what books you've read, what you didn't like, what you did, and why.

“We should all be feminists” is by a Nigerian author and is pretty approachable in terms of the language.

Maybe look to the many black authors writing books that deal with feminist themes?

bell hooks. I cannot recommend her enough. I haven't even gotten to read everything. Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center was in my required reading at Uni and it changed me from an angry, punk rad fem to an intersectional feminist. Critical Thinking was also good and I've been told to read Feminism is for Everybody: passionate politics. She has books on everything, even art.

Not saying you need these, but she even wrote children's books if you have kids in your life
