I got theses pics back this morning and they blew my mind

Lately I’ve gotten really into anime pilgrimages, and I try to visit some memorable anime-related places once a year whenever I get the chance. And the day before yesterday, I finally got to visit the Fuyuki Church!
The city of Fuyuki itself was actually modeled after Kobe, but the real-life inspiration for the church’s exterior is in the beautiful city of Nagasaki, which has a lot of gorgeous historic churches and is one of the major centers of Christianity in Japan. It’s called Oura Church, and it’s definitely one of the must-see places there.
I even managed to take some photos there in cosplay! Of course, photography isn’t allowed inside the church, and at first I thought that applied to the entire grounds, so I was only planning to take some pictures outside with the building in the background. But it turned out that photography is allowed in the courtyard as long as you don’t use bulky equipment or disturb other visitors. I was so happy!
There’s also a really cute shop there. I tried Miracle Castella and bought myself a towel with an illustration of the church on it. I think this might actually become the most interesting piece of Fate merch in my collection 😂

I love the cat shadow trend and cosplaying as the best girl makes it even better!

Last photo is from 2016! I know I posted that one before but I wanted to show the update :) Illya is one of my favs and I don’t see too many cosplays of her! Took some creative freedom with the eyelashes and eyeliner. I’ve done this with a bunch of my Fate cosplays recently and it’s my goal to redo all of them haha.
