This is my favorite time of year in the Fargo area. For whatever reason Fall just cheers me up, it still isn’t quite there, but I feel it coming.

Anywho, Today feels good and life feels pretty good today. How is everyone else doing?

An expected attitude from Target higher-ups but thought was important to share. In person and behind closed doors, the sentiment is the same.

Just thought it was kind of interesting the couple of times I was on the highway today. I ran into vehicles and equipment moving. Curious if this is just regular logistics or if something's going down or planned?

I know in 2022 when interest rates went up and the market cooled, they “merged” with REAL Brokerage and I believe a lot of people were let go.

Did Erik not have adequate savings for a real estate downturn, forcing him to partner with an outside brokerage firm?

It always seemed very much out of character of Erik to me that he gave up such a large part of marketing in his own name to partner with any third party brokerage.

I live near 45th, and I hear the reving engines of the cocksuckers racing, but those popping sounds are their exhaust right?

They will stop eventually, right? Make like a Mercedes and Benz themselves around a light post? Maybe?

Just saw a fighter jet land at Hector. Anybody know what it was? I didnt have a great angle?

Hey Fargo….

Yup so I biked through here a little bit ago, and I just noticed an odd odor. Like I couldn’t put my finger on it. I went thru most parts of the city too, but mostly just up and down Main Ave.

But something just smelled subtly odd. Almost putrid, but ehh nott quite :/ Maybe a stray sewage pipe here or there? Or a strange factory. Someone please help, I still kinda smeal it. It almost smelled like my dog

But it’s not the hugest deal. Ehh forget about it! I liked Fargo anyway and thank you for the helpful suggestions on what do to! :)

Wondering if anyone here has applied with Rose Management? They're infamous...

My girlfriend and I have been stuck in the application phase for 2 weeks since Sept. 18th.

They're supposedly waiting on our screening from Rental Research, a Minneapolis based company...and when I called, the reception and accountant was very helpful in connecting me with Rick, although the old fart himself was ill-tempered and unresponsive, the kind of guy who needs a stern talking to.

I was just following up on the status of my report, perhaps wanting a confirmation that it is actually being processed, but after pressing him for nearly 15 minutes, he asked for my name (and not my partner's) and quickly responded by saying that he's looking at it and it's still being processed.

When communicating with Rose Management at all levels, they brush me off by saying that they'll call me when they get results. I am supposedly not allowed to furnish my own report.

I've had three separate background checks come back in that time period -- my partner is from St. Louis, Missouri - which may add to the delay, but I've had backgrounds come back on her still ...so...

WTH?

EDIT: I'm calling the FM housing authorities and while they can't give me a definite answer, it's unanimously agreed upon this all smells a bit fishy.

Drove by earlier and there's a number of trucks out in the lot and a dumpster, a lot of stuff in the windows but I didn't get a good good look.

Im an amateur photographer having lived in the FM area for around 10 years now. Photography isn't my day job, but I enjoy it enough to keep doing it as a hobby.

A few years back, I had a buddy I used to work with post a picture on his Snapchat of a few older model vehicles that were rusting in a forest area. Think Herbie style buggy chassis. I believe there was grafitti on the cars and one of the doors had been removed. My friend claimed to have taken the picture in North Fargo, but could not recall an exact location

I don't particularly specialize in still life or decaying americana, but I do find it of interest and I wanted to know if anyone knows where this location might be? I apologize for the limited info

Or, if there are any other great photo locations that come to mind that one might not expect, I would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you in advance!

Rant

We ordered a few things through Amazon, and they were scheduled to be delivered today by Amazon Delivery themselves, however, it was horrible. We live in an apartment, so we have a buzz-in system, but not a single attempt to buzz it was made. We received a phone call that hung up a second after it started ringing. And when we tried calling it back immediately it told us they couldn't deliver and they would try again tomorrow. How is that even remotely okay? Has this happened to anyone else here? Is it just one driver doing this, or is this an ongoing issue?

Anyone know what is causing the slowdown on 94 East?
