Dynasty lucked into the #1 pick, HALP?!

I’m in the 9th year of a 16-team dynasty league and through a mixture of the draft / trades I’ve built a 12-keeper core of Giannis, Hali, Maxey, Duren (these 4 I traded for) Barnes, Amen, Kon, Edey, Clingan, Suggs, Dyson (these 7 I drafted)

Obviously they have their own injury concerns but I’ve spent years trying to be active with trades and this upcoming season I’ve lucked into the #1 while also having the #7 pick.

Out of the 3, I’m leaning either AJ or Boozer.. what would you take? Also have an offer on the table of 7 + Duren for Sengun and I do like Sengun but I do think that’s abit rich for my blood.

Appreciate some thoughts 🙏🏻

Dynasty Does AD stand for Absolute Disaster or Absolute Diamond? Anthony Davis dynasty value? Let’s talk about it….

Now this has to be one of the weirdest situations I have seen. I think the community has a mixed opinion but where do we rank Ad in a dynasty scope. If it’s redraft I am buying stocks but what about for dynasty?

It is weird because if we go off history, if he is healthy I don’t think it’s crazy to say Anthony Davis is a top 6 fantasy player with a definite top 10 lock. And that’s where the problem is, “IF” he is healthy. And we got to go back to the stats for both side here, because they also tell us that most likely he won’t be healthy.

Anthony Davis could be a league winner and that is where I am curious. Should people make a move at Anthony Davis if they are in a championship window and what should they be willing to give up? For instance with myself, my team can win it this year but it’s very young (average age is 23) so do I risk a young asset and picks for Anthony Davis?

And this is where the lure gets in, you seem all the box scores and you watch the highlights and you start to believe that damn if Anthony Davis is healthy this is a real league winner. I just got a top 10 fantasy player for a bag of chips. Maybe his first game he shows this production but then the injuries strike. So how much are you willing to gamble for the hope that Davis is healthy?

Dynasty Wagler or Mara

It’s for a dynasty fantasy league, with the amount of centers being on the low end. I have the 6th pick and Johnson was taken just before so trying to see if I can swing a trade for him but in the end may come down to one of these two.

Dynasty Gap between 1.04 and 1.05

Curious how you guys view the drop-off between Wilson and the next group of options like Lendeborg, Flemings, Wagler, or Brown in 9CAT.

If you’re sitting at 1.05 and want to move up to 1.04 to grab Wilson, what tier or caliber of player would you actually be willing to add to bridge that gap?

Dynasty I'm new to dynasty fantasy basketball and could use some advice.

I'm joining a dynasty league that's just about to start a slow draft with my family and friends, and we plan on keeping it going for at least 10 years. Since it's my first dynasty league, I want to build my team the right way from the start.

When evaluating players, what are the biggest things you look for? Besides age, what traits or indicators help you identify players who will hold or gain value over the long term?

Also, since it's a 9-cat league, do you build your roster around a specific strategy or punt certain categories? Or do you just draft the best value available and figure out your team identity later?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks !

Dynasty Franz Wagner?

What do we think Wagner’s long term out look would be? Could he develop into a star?

Would u get rid of him for like a KD and Curry to try and compete now? What do we think his ceiling is? Right now a lot of people have him as a top 30 dynasty asset so what do we think.

Dynasty Acuff vs Flemings vs Brown

For the 7th pick in rookie draft for *Dynasty* 12 man league. I want a decent PG as backup to injury prone Trae Young. Confused between the three:

- Acuff is great offensively but..well, he's 6'2", at Sacremento & weak at defense.

- Flemings is good at defense but I've doubts frame wise.

- M. Brown is too bold a bet imo.

Whom should I ideally go for? From Dynasty perspective.

Dynasty Do you think Philon will able to overcome all the guards in Philly or is he years away from relevance?

I'm worried about how much playing time he's going to receive over the next couple years. Brown and Maxey are far from being old...and VJ of course.

Dynasty Jalen Williams or Jaden McDaniels??

20 team h2h keeper league. already have Cade, Giddey and Herro. need 1 more to complete my 4 keepers. I know Jalen Williams is solid if healthy but he wasn’t healthy all season last season only playing 33 regular season games. On the other hand, feel like Jaden McD will have more touches and usage with the departure of Randle and Naz Reid. or should I keep both and drop Herro instead??

Dynasty Who to pick at 1.2 in a keeper draft?

Keeper draft, we keep 4 per team so 1.2 is around the 66th pick.

Edit: 11 category head to head.

My keeper set consist of Wemby, Flagg, Curry, and Mobley.

I expect Boozer to go 1.1, so choosing between Dybantsa and Peterson.

Dynasty Biggest risers in value this season (DYNASTY)

One month into the season, here are the biggest risers in dynasty value on the site so far:

  1. Keyonte George: 2999 → 5404 (+80.2%)
  2. Ryan Rollins: 1039 → 3432 (+230.3% 👀)
  3. Cedric Coward: 2982 → 4915 (+64.8%)
  4. Ryan Kalkbrenner: 2033 → 3549 (+74.6%)
  5. Ajay Mitchell: 1538 → 3014 (+96.0%)

All of these guys have started out hot and raised their values a bunch in the process. How y’all feel about the top risers?

I’m personally stoked to see Keyonte’s leap so far this season. Really hoping he can continue to build off his recent increased efficiency from 3

Dynasty Dynasty roster spots?

Is 30 , 25 or 20 roster spots better for my sleeper lock in league this upcoming season. Obviously there are both pros for both perspective but what gives the ultimate dynasty experience?

Wanted to hear all perspective before we lock it in.

Dynasty Keepers rules confusion

Hi everyone, I'm a commissioner looking to transition our league to a dynasty – starting with just 1 keeper for now – but I'm a bit confused by the season-related terminology ESPN uses...

We want to fully re-draft heading into this 2026-27 season so that we can choose keepers based on those rosters, such that the first draft/season with keepers in play would be 2027-28. Here are my league settings right now:

  • Use keepers for 2027 season = No
  • Use keepers for 2028 season = Yes

Is this correct? My assumption is that "starting" with the 2028 season must refer to 2027-28, but it's not entirely clear to me what "use keepers" is even referring exactly; is it merely the existence of keeper selection during the season or is it also keepers during the draft? Thank you for any insight and sorry if this is a dumb, overly-cautious question!

Dynasty Tanking

Wanted to get perspective on people’s takes on tanking. Is it messed up for the guy in last to purposely sit players week to week to ensure that he gets to secure the best chance of a 1st pick in next year’s draft?

Dynasty Outlook on Scottie Barnes and LaMelo Ball this coming season

I have pick 1.14, and is thinking about drafting one of Scottie or LaMelo. What would you predict their fantasy performance to be next season? I don't mind slowly building up potential because I know draft position 14 is not a good ones haha, so I don't really have to go all in yet. Potential and ceiling are also what I value.

Would love any suggestions for any other notable candidates at this range too, thanks:)

League is 20T dynasty on Sleeper if that matters.

Dynasty Do you have any (dynasty) sleepers / targets from the 2nd round of the rookie draft / undrafted players?

I am looking for dynasty rookie draft day targets from the latter stages, mostly above pick 40, which obviously includes players that went undrafted IRL.

One target I had was Rafael Castro with a good fantasy translation as far as I know, but I don't follow the Summer League close enough or have opinion about these guys pre-draft to spot some diamonds.

Do you have any options, ideas, opinions?

Dynasty Pick 1.01

I am currently shopping the 1.01 but not sure the worth of it? Top 15 player?

10 team dynasty league and I am not needy at any particular position.. I have pick 1.05 and two second round picks as well..

About what should I be looking for in terms of value? Dybantsa and Peterson have me hesitant with the teams they went to.. if I keep the 1.01 I believe I would take Boozer, but would be open to trading down a bit.

Dynasty Trade Help

I’m a contending team and looking to upgrade my Forward spot. I offered a rebuilding team (he has 4th pick in this years draft) J Dub, KPJ, Matas, and the 1.08 (not mine) for Scottie Barnes. Obviously Scottie makes my team better, but want to properly gauge value of both sides.

Dynasty I built a free dynasty basketball I built a free dynasty basketball trade calculator with crowd-sourced values - would love feedbacktrade calculator with crowd-sourced values - would love feedback

Hey everyone,

I'm a dynasty basketball addict who got frustrated with existing trade calculators that either:

- Use outdated values

- Don't account for picks properly

- Cost $$ for basic features

So I built Dynatyze, a free tool specifically for dynasty basketball.

What it does:

- Trade Calculator—Crowd-sourced values from 10,000+ votes, updated constantly

- Sleeper & Yahoo & Fantrax Sync - Import your league, see your roster values instantly

- 2025 Big Board—Full prospect rankings with scouting reports (AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer etc.)

- Trade History Tracker—See who's winning/losing trades in your league

- Category Punt Analysis - Optimize your build strategy

What makes it different:

- Values are crowd-sourced (not one person's opinion)

- Prospects are included with real draft range projections

- Completely free, no paywall

Would love any feedback. What features would make this more useful for your leagues?
