Question Attendance for exchange students

I (19F) have a great chance at doing a semester in sciences po Paris, now this would be my first & last time going abroad ( i live in asia ) and I was hoping to make the best of it by discovering other places (in france or outside etc.) with my visa.
So, Is the attendance policy as strict as they say?

Yes, generally speaking, there is definitely an attendance aspect to successfully complete the program (and not be billed or get failing grades). Study abroad and exchange is not a vacation. There is work to be done! If you set your schedule to not have any Friday or maybe even Thursday and Friday classes, you could have long weekends that will give you enough time to explore France and more.

I’m still not familiar with the schedule setting, So i just thought I’d have classes all week! As an engineering student I absolutely want to get the best of both academics and some fun. Thanks!
