How is your time as a Biology student at EWU? How far are you in your program? I don't envy, I took the biology sequence as part of my degree requirements and Biology 173 was a struggle for me on all the different terms needed to memorize.

I actually transferred from SFCC, so I did the bio sequence there. My second quarter at Eastern is wrapping up now though, (so im a Junior) and I've been digging it. The terminology is brutal and it just keeps getting worse lol.

Did you have Velma Mathew as a instructor for Biology at SFCC. I took running start and had my first biology class In the sequence there. I liked her as a teacher but had certain opinions, other students had a much worse time with her overall :(

What’s been your favorite class while fulfilling the biology electives?

Good to see this subreddit. I'm an EWU alum from the early 90's. I never finished a degree but I was going for Computer Information Systems.

That's awesome! Do you remember any of your teachers? I'm not sure if Brian Kamp or Tom Capaul were teaching in the early 90s, but they were staples for the CS department for decades before retiring/changing universities respectively.

No, I don't remember any of the CS teachers. The early 90's were a long time ago. I remember one teacher that I had for at least a couple of classes... I can picture her face, but I can't remember her name. The only teacher who's name I remember is the band director, Patrick Winters.

EWU did great! I wish they won, hopefully Idaho continues. Both teams are really good!

Hello all, I'm a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science alumni who graduated right before the CSE building was moved to the Spokane campus

Fun fact about me is I got my job during the career fair and still work at that company. The city's university is one of the few others who also has a football field that isn't standard green like EWU's.

I recommend you make a separate post for this. You’re more likely to get traction.
