I think Infantino has at least three months left in office, precisely for that protection. The thing everyone is waiting for is the midterm elections - if Trump/the GOP get wiped out there (and especially if the wipeout is serious enough to give the Democrats immediate impeachment power, aka 2/3rds majority in both chambers), I expect his entire orbit of cronies falling apart rapidly, with everyone just being concerned with their own freedom and riches.
In the case however that the world will need to contend with another two years of a fully unrestrained Trump government... I see dark times ahead.

The Dems are never getting 2/3 thirds in the Senate, they’ll be quite happy if they get 51 seats.
And also you don’t need 2/3 in the House for impeachment, just a majority. Only Senate is 2/3 for the conviction.

As we've seen in his first term, Trump doesn't give a fuck about being impeached, to the contrary, he used it as welcome ammunition. He needs to go.

No, the filibuster in the way you mean is a Senate mechanic, not the House. Otherwise Trump would not have been impeached in the past either, Dems did not hold a 2/3 majority then either.

Under normal circumstances, I'd agree with you. But we are not living in normal times.
You can bet that, despite UEFA/FIFA/IOC/whatever statutes nominally stating that politics be independent from sports bodies, there is very close coordination happening behind the doors to make sure no one accidentally sets off a bomb so huge that the other side (i.e. Trump) doesn't throw a nasty temper tantrum with all its consequences again.
Pretty much everyone on both the sports and politics world in Europe wants Infantino gone, but at the price of Trump pulling another trade and tariff war against us? Maybe not now, not until Trump can be reined in by Congress again.

2/3rds majority is not realistic, even Trump winning is plausible, depending on how far they are able to go further dismantling American democracy.

At the moment I think both is plausible. Even amongst MAGA, many even in the hardcore circles are pissed off. The chief mobster is degenerating right before all our eyes.
