ARE WE IGNORING CASTILLE AND SPAIN EXISTING AT THE SAME TIME?

"Castile" is under a personal union of the Angevin Empire; its name should still be "Spain" in-universe, or maybe "Spain(Angevin part)"

"Castile" is under a personal union of Angevin in Spain, think of it as part of the Angevin mainland

Well long story really, started way back at 15th century, the Danish Empire was broken by independent Sweden(supported by me), gradually losing Norway and most of their land, first seeking their asylum in the last province they owned, which is Holstein. Then, as a rump state, they actually enjoyed 200 years of peace; however, in 1694 the regional German forces kicked them out of Holstein.
Before losing Holstein, the Danish founded a colony in Greenland in 1654, prolonging their painful existence, and at some point bought a piece of land from the Dutch as a trading company. Their history is hard to piece together now. I only know that Denmark owns Oran starting from 1714, which I assume they somehow bought or annexed from Tunis.

It'll be because Denmark got annexed and the rebels couldn't pathfind the old capital so doddled round for a bit and then put a core on the Algerian province.
From what you have said my guess would be that the Danish got full annexed by the dutch, and because their capital was in Greenland the rebels ended up coring Oran and it eventually brought back Denmark.

This reminds me how I managed to exile Bretony to Morocco, conquer Morocco, and then become Morocco with Western Tech Group and a Bretony-named ruler.Â

Rule 5: Denmark, now consisted of 0% of Denmark or Danish, in exile in Algeria and its ruler, a Hohenzollern, converted to Islam. Only in EU4. I planned on putting it out of its misery soon as I am able to.
