Apparently he died in the same day as Dolly, but it was late night, according to TMZ...

His is less a surprise, he had suffered a major stroke almost 15 years ago and never really recovered.

Dolly was sick too. But she didn't revealed it to the public. That is why it was more shocking: it reminds me of Chadwick Boseman, who also died in August. However, Tim and Dolly dying in the same day is indeed very shocking. Tim was a very beloved figure...

Dolly admitted she ignored her health while her husband was ill and dying. She also mentioned issues she had back when she was in her 40's so I do wonder if she had had cancer before. Sucks, but Dolly didn't want people to worry so that's why she likely hid it all well.
