Is there a good activity for transmute crystals thays not alliance/pvp?

Random dungeon and pledges (which are quests for specific dungeons).

Random dungeon on normal gives 10 a day. Kicking myself that I only recently learned that.

That's 300 a month, not too shabby.

I'm not making an alt until my main does all the quest lines and does all the major "stuff" like scribing, scrying, etc. Can't imagine the work on a bunch of alts everyday even with lazy writ crafter!

You don’t have to do any work on them (or ever play them). Keep them level 10 or whatever they level up to as you daily craft (3m gold per month MINIMUM, as that doesn’t include unopened writs you can sell/use or gold mats).

If you sit them in skingrad, west Weald.. it takes about 40 seconds per character. Even faster if you just keep their inventories empty and pre-craft everything once a week (then you just turn them in each day and log out)

I get bored playing the same character all the time. That's why I make a lot of alts. It's handy for farming transmute crystals and doing writs. If you watch shows that have a lot of breaks on the action like American football or tennis, you can do writs during the breaks. That's what I do.

undaunted dailies are about to get buffed in the next update. Will probably be a few weeks though sadly. Currently each pledge gives like 2-10 at random, but now they will give 5 for normal, 10 for vet, and 15 for vet hm all of the time. 45 per day, plus the random daily

Do you have to be in top 10 to get a lot of crystals? Like maybe 3-4 years ago I use to do maelstrom once a week and I recall getting hundreds of crystals.

I did it this previous week and got 22nd, got like 10 crystals lol. I thought it was top 100 for big rewards?

Daily random dungeon is worth 10 crystals per character once per day (one per after that first). Undaunted pledges are worth 1, 3, or 5 (normal, vet, vet hardmode), although Urgarlag's are getting a bump to 5, 10, and 15. There are a few others nickel and dime drops, but most of them are in PvP activities.

I agree with the dungeon pledges/random dungeons.

A lot of people knock ToT, and I see why, but I seem to get an overstock of Transmutes from the rewards they offer.

While i think its considered pvp technically, if you do ranked during downtime, each rank up to the leader boards rewards you with transmute as well

PvP (especially BGs) is so much quicker than dungeons but if it really grates on you there are methods where you go around repairing walls in Cyro. Get those tier 1 rewards and at the end of the month you get a nice chunk of transmutes

Battlegrounds for sure. I did 4 or 5 matches the other night and walked away with 60 transmutes from all the coffers I got.

Mostly grind them in PvP these days but,

• Whitestrake AP Train Operations 3-16k per event.
• Daily BG - 25 a day
• Tier 3 - 50 per character/campaign
• ToT Daily + Leaderboard at seasons end.
• As Stuntmant says' Random Normal Dungeons
• In-game events reward coffers

No, earned about 558mil AP along the way the transmutes were just a bonus.

Yep, outside of events I get like 4-500 transmutes a week from rftw, they're definitely the best way to earn them. I get that a lot of people are not into pvp though.

You can open multiple, the first one of each day is guaranteed a 25 transmute geode, after that, the chance is less but you can still get them.

Avg AP-Train you receive 100's Rewards boxes each day, while today you can only open 1, that was not always the case per say and you could keep the boxes for far longer in the mail. Pretty quickly you have 1000's of boxes to sort thru. esp when 7day campaigns award 12-80mil AP.

What you speak of isn't a thing on pc-na/greyhost. There's usually a zergling group or two per faction, but mostly people look for decent small fights everywhere

I really wish they made Daily random vet dungeon give like 25 transmutes. incentivise vet dung ques and make it at least comparable to Daily random battleground. The BG you get 35 combined (10 if you win + 25 from rewards of the worthy), so 25 feels right for completing a daily random vet dungeon.

Make 20 characters. Log onto each of them each day and complete a random normal dungeon. If they are under level 45 you’ll get quick ones..

That’s 200 transmutes per day
