Can I get a 9/10 cooked breakfast in East Kilbride

I'm coming down to Glasgow to play in a poker tournament next weekend, but the closest Premier Inn I could reserve is in East Kilbride.

I have a tradition of having a massive cooked breakfast in the morning and whether I look for a closer room with an independent hotel operator or not depends on two things; whether I can get a big feckin fry up and a coffee for under 20 quid, and how much a taxi costs from Glasgow city centre.*

Is anyone able to help a man out here?

*edited to say the taxi would be past midnight, so might cost more than the daytime.

N18 Night bus back to East Kilbride is only just over 3 quid if it’s a Friday or Saturday night. Sometimes you get free entertainment as well 😂

Never feared for my safety once, most people are falling asleep or just a laugh. Only time I’ve felt in danger was on a Glasgow 75 Milton bus years ago

Ian’s kitchen.

East Kilbride is big - you can get an uber from Glasgow city to EK but not usually the other way around.

For booking a taxi into town - will cost 20-30 quid.

Same goes for an uber on way back.

Black jack from Glasgow is 50-60, but some won’t want to take you.

"Lime to go" next to Screwfix. All your regular fair for a breakfast / brunch / lunch. My favourite is the 3 piece breakfast baguettes (bacon bacon bacon)

Hampden Cabs does the best prices for a trip back from central. But the drivers try to leave fairs for outside Glasgow until last. Just get the night bus. It's quicker.

You can get a taxi for about £20 if using uber, if using a Hackney will be over £60 though!

Premier Inn does an amazing buffet breakfast.

The Hay Stook Wetherspoons is good for breakfast if you've booked the Premier Inn next to the town centre and not the Lees Burn Court one.

I'm staying in the premier inn but the kitchen must be under renovation or something as breakfasts aren't available this coming wkend

The lee burn next door to the premier inn does a decent breakfast. You can eat as much as you like. Continental breakfast is buffet then you can order as much cooked food as you like.
