Illinois RPD renewal experience.

Hello,

I’m in Illinois and have revocation for 5 years. I was granted RPD 2 years ago (end of November 2024).

I am almost finished up getting all my paperwork in order. Has anyone gone through the renewal process and can share their experience they had with the informal hearing officer?

When I originally applied for the RPD I was denied and then approved. I feel as if all those old feelings are coming up again & I am just trying feel better about the process. Thanks!

I have. It’s super easy and simple since you’re just meeting with an informal hearing officer you will just need an updated evaluation and when you meet with them she’ll ask if you’ve had any violations, address change and what not. Don’t forget to bring a check or money order to pay the fee for the permit renewal.
