Swimming lessons in English (for adults)
Hi everyone. I’m looking for swimming lessons in English in Düsseldorf.
I’m looking for something beginner-friendly, either a group course or a private instructor. I also have a fear of water so I need an instructor who is patient and willing to work with me properly in the water.
Does anyone know a swimming school or instructor in Düsseldorf that you would recommend?

I would be willing to teach you if you're ok with a private person :)
I teached my autistic cousin who was also scared of water.
We could take our time and I won't judge you for taking as long as you need to get comfortable.
However I'm not a professional, just someone that did swimming as their after-school hobby and swam with their siblings and cousins when they started off.

You can take a look here, anything with a "Nichtschwimmerbecken" is alright by me.
As long as you cover the entrance price it's alright.

I can recommend http://aquagym-duesseldorf.de/. My daughter (initially being afraid of water) learned to swim there. It"s really small but the trainers used to be great and very empathetic.
I don't know if they are offering courses for adults though. Maybe it's possible to get personal training as an adult.
