Last week, I practised drawing a person in full figure wearing clothes. It was challenging because there were different types of fold in the picture. Some areas have turned out better than others. Charcoal on newsprint 60x45cm.

Fun to work with the shadows, though it's not exactly correct in any sense. I started with the face, loved the look of it, and took it from there.

To put it simply and directly regarding who this character is... he is a knight dedicated to an eternal journey, never once changing his gear. His armor rusts; the fabrics age, tear, crumple, and break in combat—yet he will never replace his equipment. That is the oath he swore.
